the replies are hilarious because 1) they try a "gotcha" rebuttal of BotW screenshots and it's just Link cooking or being on fire. Not significant story elemts. Even Age of Calamity knew better and added at least SOMETHING to latch onto. 2) the excuse of "but BotW Link has no memory therefore no personality" really makes TotK look worse because he's had both vital memories restored AND new interactions with the other characters since BotW's completion. Where's his returned or new personality then?? 3) "he's training to be a knight so he won't show emotions" okay, not a ROBOT, though. Be so fr they didn't even animate a furrowed brow as he went toe-to-toe with Ganon beneath the castle in the finale of BotW. That would've been the moment of all moments. 4) "they wanted Link to be a blank slate for the player" - well they certainly achieved that. Hasn't been that blank of emotions since the blossoming of 3D gaming. Let folks desire a change for the next era. It's been 10 years. 5) you can like both Wild Era games and still acknowledge truth.. you don't have to be insufferable in your defense for these games just because someone makes a valid and obvious point.
