I’m excited about all these changes! My only worry is that this makes Storm an actual must play, since she can do fireball tag without the use of tag with her 22h. If her 22h gets nerfed, this patch might be perfect.

Just hit a 100 win streak on ranked. I have the general flowchart of the game down, except for matchup specific scenarios. Hopefully the devs patch out free assist calls in pressure, because it's an actual different game if only one person does it.

The people calling it a DP don’t understand the game. It’s a frame one party that can be triggered on anything and be + on block. Now imagine someone doing the parry call goblin assist, and they run up and do a lock down special tag goblin. You now lost by doing a meaty assist.

as much as i'm enjoying tokon I think assemble counter is one of the worst fighting game mechanics of all time ( the orange backdash reversal ) It always feels bad to use and to fight against There's no fun interaction against it in my opinion and its cringe that it can KO imo

Thoughts on Tokon, the game is fun, but it's a button masher's paradise with how neutral is designed and intended to be played by the developers. Hopefully they address assists and how round start currently works where someone can just force button rps if they desire. 7/10 game
