Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 already combine a hearing test with an FDA-authorized OTC hearing aid (I've used the hearing test on myself, and my 85-year-old mom loves the hearing aid function). Now Samsung has clearance to do the same with Galaxy Buds, widening the pool of people with access to this great technology.
Diagnosis Migration: hearing testing is getting de-medicalized, moving from the clinic to consumer electronics.

A Statement of Truth: Setting the Record Straight
I am a proud resident of the United States of America, and I write this with both a heavy heart and an unwavering commitment to truth and justice.
A deeply irresponsible and malicious social media post has been circulating, falsely claiming that a property in Melrose, USA belongs to someone connected to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This claim is not merely inaccurate — it is a deliberate, calculated lie, and it has caused real harm to real people.
The Facts Are Clear and Documented
The property in question was purchased by Komal and Rajendra Mohapatra — a hardworking married couple — entirely from their own savings. This is not a matter of opinion. It is documented fact, supported by the attached legal records. Rajendra Mohapatra shares absolutely no familial, financial, or personal connection with Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan or any member of his family. Even a basic verification of their dates of birth confirms what is self-evident: these are two entirely different individuals who happen to share a common name.
Let that sink in — a family's life savings, their home, their sanctuary, is being weaponized as political ammunition by those who cannot distinguish — or choose not to distinguish — between two people who merely share a name.
A Name Is Not Evidence
In Odisha, as across India, sharing a name and a surname is extraordinarily common. It is not — and has never been — evidence of family connection, conspiracy, or wrongdoing. To suggest otherwise is not journalism. It is not activism. It is intellectual dishonesty dressed in the clothes of public interest.
There exists zero proof — not a single document, transaction record, or credible testimony — linking Dharmendra Pradhan, his wife, or his family to this property in any capacity whatsoever. Not as buyers. Not as financiers. Not as beneficiaries. Nothing.
Accountability Must Follow Falsehood
It has been identified that the individual behind the "McLeanToQuantico" account — operating from Croatia — is a key architect of this disinformation campaign.
This is not a spontaneous misunderstanding. This is a coordinated, cross-border effort to manufacture a scandal where none exists — driven purely by vested political interests and a reckless disregard for truth, decency, and the lives of innocent people.
The news channels and social media handles amplifying these baseless narratives must ask themselves: What is the cost of your complicity? An innocent couple's dignity has been dragged through the mud. A public servant's reputation is being systematically attacked. Families are suffering — not because of any wrongdoing, but because misinformation spreads faster than facts, and some are willing to exploit that tragedy for political gain.
Truth Is Not Negotiable
Facts do not bend to political pressure. Documentary evidence does not yield to viral posts. The truth — however inconvenient it may be to those peddling these lies — will stand.
We call upon every responsible citizen, journalist, and platform to reject this campaign of falsehoods, demand accountability from those spreading it, and let the documented evidence speak for itself.
Justice demands nothing less. #otvnews #Dharmendrapradhan #NEP2020

Few more notes:
1) Some other versions of this graphic have a thermometer icon which says to me that this feature will be available on old and new Apple Watches.
2) Maybe this is why the sleep icon is changing from light blue to purple.
3) I imagine the watch face complication will include a small circular option that will look similar to the main graphic.
