Forsyth Country Day looked to cap off an incredible season, and though they were down early in the game, they were able to flourish with their size and guard play, something they have shown all season long. Providence Day came out to make a statement, led by Zeke Battier and company. And though they were able to come out strong, it was the offensive balance inside and out that allowed FCDS to regain the lead and eventually take home the 67-57 victory, giving them yet another championship.
Q Williams led the way with 12 points, while JR Adams was right there with 12 as well. Battier led the way for PDS with 16 points. #PhenomHoops

Q Williams has been tremendous to start the year. A true floor general with elite basketball IQ. The kind of leader every team wants running the show. 💯
Jayon Connor, already proving to be one of the best transfers in the state - maybe having the best season early on. His energy on both ends is different. Absolute X-FACTOR for Forsyth. ⚡️#PhenomTipOff @Phenom_Hoops @FCDS_Mens_Bball @coachwhitfaye

2026 Q Williams (FCDS) is always two steps ahead with the ball in his hands. A true connector who elevates everyone around him, he takes advantage of open looks, gets downhill consistently, and applies steady pressure on both ends. Williams keeps this talented Forsyth Country Day squad running at a high level — they aren’t the #1 team in the state without his impact. #PhenomTipOff

5’10 2026 Coastal commit Q Williams put up a 20-point triple-double against Caldwell Academy last night. He’s the focal point for the Furies and one of the most creative, unpredictable playmakers in the state constantly dictating tempo, and makes reads most guards can’t.

Few players have moved up faster than 2027 Jayon Connor. At 6’7, he blends size, strength, and mobility to guard multiple positions, rebound at a high level, and pressure the rim. A powerful athlete with two-way versatility.
