ISRAEL ELECTION UPDATE
With 85.6% of the votes counted:
A total of 61 seats is needed for a parliamentary majority.
Netanyahu wants a right-wing government and has criticised his opponents for considering an alliance with Arab parties, warning that it could undermine Israel’s security.
The final results are expected on Thursday, October 29, although counting could continue into Friday.
The world is watching.
Israel is showing the world the importance of competitive elections, where citizens vote and different political parties compete for power.

I'm +1 today 💃💯💃
I'm happy because of life, nothing else because this year took more than it gave me, my job, my only son and the woman that stands as a mother to me for years now,
I don't even know if to celebrate or just let it go because I really planned to celebrate this year birthday with my son and my daughters but here I am 🥺
I just want to appreciate God and everyone who has been and still here for me, adding another year to myself, thank you all so much, I'm so grateful 🙏🙏

My course mate, who has been jobless since we left university, has been squatting in my house since February this year.
As God would have it, he got a job in June after I had helped him with job suggestions and accommodation.
Recently, he moved out of my house because he had rented a new place for himself and bought some home appliances.
When I visited him yesterday for the first time, he said something that left me feeling uncomfortable....
Brazil’s defeated presidential candidate, Flávio Bolsonaro, has arrived in the US after declaring himself the rightful president-elect and alleging electoral fraud without providing evidence.
He says he will lead the opposition from abroad after leaving Brazil despite a court order requiring him to surrender his passports.
Interestingly, the Trump administration has welcomed him and agreed to grant him and his family visas.
I wish him well.
Sometimes, I question democracy.
Israel is the world's only Jewish state and is fighting for its existence. Yet Arab citizens can vote and form political parties in Israel.
Meanwhile, the UK Green Party has adopted a policy describing Zionism as a form of racism.
It makes me wonder: can a country protect its identity and existence while allowing ideologies that challenge them to thrive under democracy?
I just hope Israel is moving in the right direction and protecting its identity, security and future.
Israel needs to succeed and survive because much of the world is looking up to it.

If you wan cheat on your wife, cheat with full confidence. 😂 Which one be say once you see your wife or anybody wey know you, you go begin run?
You know wetin you dey do. You know say e no good, yet you still dey do am. So, when you wan repent?
The honest truth be say, sometimes, that same thing wey you dey find outside, your wife fit give you for house. But you don allow yourself believe say outside go always better.
Until you understand this truth and learn to value the person wey you marry, you fit continue to struggle with cheating.
If you look at the pattern on this app, you'll notice that some of the people who show women the most compassion, support, and understanding are men.
Honestly, I don't understand why some women are so harsh toward other women. Why is it so difficult for us to support, encourage, and celebrate one another?
Womanhood shouldn't be a competition. We should be able to correct one another without cruelty, disagree without hatred, and support one another without jealousy.
There's enough hardship in this world already. We don't need to make life harder for one another. ❤️

Yesterday, I attended my first training session on customer communication, and I genuinely learned a lot! 😊
One thing that stood out to me is that good communication isn’t just about giving the right answer.
It’s also about listening, showing empathy, asking the right questions and making people feel understood.
We also discussed Microsoft Copilot and how AI can support us in our daily work.
Starting a new chapter in my career has reminded me how much I still enjoy learning and challenging myself.
There’s always room to grow, no matter how much experience you already have.
I’m excited to put these new insights into practice in my customer service role! 💪
Have you ever followed a training course that changed the way you approach your work?

As Nigerians, where exactly are we going?
They told us to go to school. We went. You study a good course, graduate, then spend another two to three years looking for a job. Some people don't even have parents to fall back on.
While in school, they tell you a degree isn't enough. You need a skill. Some of us started learning graphic design, video editing and website design. Then came AI, and we started learning how to integrate it into what we already knew.
Next, they told us to look for scholarships and learn lucrative, sustainable skills. We applied, paid acceptance fees where required, spent money on data, sacrificed sleep and attended classes because we genuinely believed we had found an opportunity to change our lives.
Now, some of those same opportunities and academies are being dragged, and the people who encouraged us to pursue them are being questioned.
So what exactly are we supposed to do?
You do fraud, they drag you. You do business, they drag you. You try to learn a skill, they drag the academy. You post on X with a blue tick, and suddenly everything you say is a lie because you're verified.
Some of us don't have rich parents or connections to fall back on. We're just trying different things, hoping one will finally work. But every time we take a step forward, somebody makes us question whether we're on the right path.
Honestly, I feel like the people who have genuinely figured out their lives are quietly doing their thing while the rest of us are trying to survive all this confusion.
What exactly do we want young Nigerians to do? Where exactly are we going?
Anyway, everybody go dey alright last last.
