I’m at Shaundelle Brooks’ election party in Donelson where about a dozen friends and campaign staffers are refreshing results waiting for Davidson County to report on District 60.

Brooks tells me she’s excited but she expected to win early voting. Says she’s still nervous about her final results and also the presidential election.
“It was such a fight oh my god,” she says, sipping a margarita.
Brooks is up about 2,600 votes with 11 precincts reporting. Bobo is narrowly winning the actual Election Day votes counted so far (about 5,000 votes), but she dominated early and absentee.
