Think that was the best 45mins of football we played in a long long time for me that last night. Learning curve needed in how we handle a second half when so on top granted Phillips coming on did not help at all. Think we 100% need a LCB come January #wba
I’ll take the point but I still feel that’s 2 points dropped. The Campbell injury. Luke be a blow because Phillips lols absolutely dog shit and Mepham did not want to pass to him. Pray Campbell is fit. FairPlay Bany great cameo that though #wba
No surprise to me don’t want to break a winning team. #wba
Your Albion XI to face Southampton. 👊

#USMNT centre-back George Campbell in talks over new deal at #WBA. The 25yo has long-term deal at Hawthorns but reflection of progress over last two seasons since arrival from MLS club CF Montréal @TeleFootball 🔵⚪️🇺🇸
He’s starting to get going now, showing a lot of intelligent touches and plays and he’s doing things none of our players can do #wba
What a complete performance that was 😂 quality from minute one and some good finishes to go with that, granted they were awful I just thought our shape off the ball was sublime today #wba
What’s this sudden hate for Pereira? Actually didn’t think he was that bad? The problem still for me is no wingers. It’s just not working still and it’s clear Pereira would work better with a proper winger on his side especially. This has got to change once Johnstone is back #wba
Crap point this for me, they were there for the taking but sadly our attacking was woeful. We need so much more quality in our attack if we are to be up there with the better teams in this division we’re just crying out for a Fellows type player badly #wba
2 main points that are constant takeaways from today’s game/recents:
Campbell does NOT work as a LCB just put Mepham there he’s fine there. Played RCB for USA during the 3 weeks & was a different player
Jimmy Jay is currently not a starter for me just not offering enough #wba
Defending has gotta better but again a come back from behind win which is even more impressive for me, chuffed for Stewart and Felix getting their goals. 3 points off the top and we’re still playing no where near what we’re capable of #wba
Glad he sticking with the back 2 thought they were fine Tuesday, interesting how this is set up today Price right maybe? Positive changes though for me although he’s probably egging Heg on to be potent on the bench again #wba
Your Albion XI this afternoon. 💙🤍

We’d still draw to them if this was us 😂 #wba @AlbionThat
Callum Styles is the best LB in the league surely if not he’s top 3 minimum #wba

Shout out to Pereira btw, this 3 weeks break has done him the world of good and now he is starting to show some good form and I think he’s going to be come a good player for us #wba
Out of no where that win 😂😂 take it all day and tbf I really hope that goal for Heg boosts that confidence of his that’s where you want him looking for that ball in the middle but that’s a massive win #wba
How is it every sodding team in this league are a threat from corners, set pieces etc yet we can’t even win a header in their box. #wba
Finally seen sense and dropped Phillips after his numerous clangers. Diakite I agree with he needs a rest and good to see him recognise that front line needed dropping even Morgan #wba

ALT Our team news graphic in blue third colours, featuring Barney Stewart. XI: O'Leary, Pereira, Mepham, Campbell (c), Styles, Whitwell, Collyer, Molumby, Price, Nzingoula, Stewart. Subs: Ingram, Phillips, Crowther, Townsend, Diakité, Horn Myhre, Bany, Morgan, Heggebø.
That first goal…. The only fucker that could cross a ball that still hasn’t been replaced… oh how we could do with Fellows back. #wba
I really want to see Campbell and Mepham together. I think he’s just too clumsy and to slow on the ball where as the output from Mepham is far better and he seems fine on the left side, Campbell for USA on the right was excellent as well. He’s got to drop Phillips now & try. #wba
