One of the men in this picture is a politician currently serving 10 and a half years in prison for accepting Russian bribes. The other was his boss and doesn't think there's evidence of Russia interfering in UK politics.

We keep hearing this … If they approve the licenses today how long would it take before output from the new oil fields have an impact on world oil prices (if ever) which dictates the price ?
We are on the brink of a serious oil supply shock in Europe. We are sending RAF planes to support the Saudi’s re-secure shipping routes and pipelines. Diesel is about to cross $2 a litre. And yet, in spite all of that, it remains the policy of this Labour Government to ban new oil licences in our own North Sea! And they still refuse to approve Rosebank. It isn’t just mad, it is unforgivable. A complete and utter dereliction of duty. Energy Security IS National Security. Labour can’t be trusted with either.

Finally got round to sorting out a playlist of the M65 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m sprint finals from Daegu... plus a couple of my own races that didn't get broadcast live. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…

It was quite the moment from Elon Musk “It’s obvious people loathe you more than me because I have more followers on X.” That’s the level of his argument. Apparently, follower count is now the definitive measure of being loved. You couldn’t make it up.

Hardly surprising when he’s taking his cues from the likes of Farage, Lowe, Robinson and an army of X airheads, most of whom have never even set foot in the UK.

Not sure this sits comfortably with me. It looks like those who helped bring down the PM and his Cabinet are being rewarded for doing so. If MPs were willing to undermine their own leadership once, what’s to stop them repeating it again? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2r…

Made me chuckle .. and it’s true !!
Quite funny Nigel Farage calling for a general election and claiming Andy Burnham has no mandate when he isn’t even an MP and is locked in an electoral struggle with a bin.

Wow … Investors (particularly those who bought after the IPO) have seen paper losses of roughly $800 billion to $1.3 trillion in aggregate market value since #SpaceX’s mid-June 2026 IPO

A clear leader is emerging in the AI Grand Prix and that’s @claudeai. ChatGPT and Copilot are in pursuit. xAI? Despite all the noise from Elon Musk, it’s several laps behind.

It’s clear watching Starmer’s final PMQs that the Labour Party has just made an absolutely catastrophic error, blinded by panic, afflicted by petty opportunist factionalism, and entirely disengaged from the national interest in a dangerous world. What a huge, huge blunder. 🤦🏻‍♂️

A democratically elected British Prime Minister has been driven from office by a relentless campaign of propaganda and misinformation; funded, amplified and perpetuated by foreign billionaires and elites whose interests bear zero resemblance to those of ordinary working people. A noble gesture from an emotional Keir Starmer, entirely consistent with his conduct in office. A truly sad day for British democracy. His full resignation speech:
