Our youth services already do fantastic work, but to ensure we protect the public and reduce reoffending, we need the system to evolve.

📢 New report providing guidance on diverting children away from violence at the early stages of the youth justice system.
This report, co-authored by @CJInnovation , offers seven key recommendations to enhance decision-making, partnership working, and evidence-based support.
Our findings highlight the significant benefits of early diversion (pre-charge and for younger children aged 12-14) in reducing reoffending, lowering the severity of future crimes, and achieving better outcomes at a lower cost than formal processing.
