Some of these clubs have a long road to recovery. They got so used to clowning Arsenal for many years while their clubs were not particularly shining stars. Now, they can’t appraise their woeful performances because they’re salty that that same Arsenal is no longer their clown.
It’s a circular journey back to denial for some

We played the “beautiful game” for over a decade and received mockery, scorn, unfair criticisms, and a corrupt league. Go watch them on YouTube whenever you miss them.
The “football” this arsenal team play is an insult to what Wenger built. Vile stuff

Which is why I hold no grace for ManUtd players. You’re privileged to be professionals in the most watched league in the world. Say your coach got into coma for a month and couldn’t train you. Are you saying that you can’t man your post and show up as a man?
Arsenal players were coaching themselves on the field today. They kept screaming at each other, demanding better froom one another. I saw Rice scream at Odegaard, Gabby at Calafiori, Calafiori at Gabi, even Konsa shouted at Gabriel. These guys are built like machines. What exactly does Arteta do to these guys?

If you watched Arsenal’s All or Nothing and paid attention beyond mocking us for not winning that season, you’d know why an Anfield win is very important to Arsenal and to Arteta. We might compose another song to commemorate this.

“Arteta cannot coach an attack” “Arsenal is not an attacking team” “Bring Havertz, sack Gyokeres” “If I see you play Kai one more time…Play Gyokeres!” Well, Liverpool is an attacking team, but Arsenal has raised the bar from clean sheets to zero shots on target.
Arsenal has just served me one of the worst loses I’ve experienced as a Liverpool fan. We lost to Arsenal at Anfield for the first time in 14 years without even recording in single shot on target. We have the most expensive frontline in the history of the Premier League 💔

You should have observed by now that when we celebrate wins, the “clean sheet” part is also very important to us. That’s the standard at @Arsenal
Why do Arsenal players shout like they’ve just scored a goal every time they make a tackle?

The 300th at Anfield 🥰
300 up ✅ Arsenal become only the 2nd side to amass 300 away PL victories, after Manchester United. An elite club 🌟

Don’t be deceived nor be swayed by meaningless praises. Arsene was in fact not praised, but insulted as a “top four merchant” and “a specialist in failure”. They praised Mourinho for parking the bus. Arteta can park a ship 🚢 for all I care.
Arsenal’s identity was built on beautiful football. Arsène Wenger embodied that philosophy, and every young footballer, even rivals looked forward to playing the brand of football Arsenal represented. Then Arteta came along and completely changed the club’s philosophy. Now we’re being served haram football, the kind that hurts your eyes to watch. It’s embarrassing to see what has become of this club. Arsenal Fans don’t know it Yet

Closed the loop with about 1200km over the weekend with nothing but gratitude for those who regularly travel distances to make our lives easier.e.g., grocery truck drivers.
560km stretch no-detours on a straight road. I only paused for a stop after 200km. Engineering is the bedrock of civilization and Infrastructure is indeed the bedrock of development.

I’m in awe of the professionals that built with such perfection. The intricacies of the blue, red, and gold details held me captivated. Clearly, such minds and hands are far from idle.

I often envision Twitter as a Munera Sine Missione. You, the main character are fighting to the death. The folks cheering you on to self-destruct in public view are the audience cheering for more violence. A fighter dies at the arena, the other is wounded, the audience goes home

If nobody else knows, a doctor should at least know that some issues are inconclusive [last time I checked, such topics are taught as such]. Thus, one must accommodate multiple perspectives Dragging out a conclusion only generates feisty political arguments that advances nothing
Dear Dr Mary, you have not made a conclusion in your statement. As someone who has some level of obstetric exposure. If you are asked by the AMERICAN or ROYAL BOARD... "Dr Mary, is Pregnancy a death sentence?" what will be your answer?... I can see you don't support MumZee, but that's beside the point... I'm asking you as a MEDICAL DOCTOR. You've made a broad statement here, cleverly without stating Pregnancy is a death sentence... but supporting the claim. You will go ahead to encourage more women to believe that notion. Except you believe Pregnancy is a death sentence. You made a statement "That shii hit a nerve in me…for the pregnant women that was brought in dead due to eclampsia, for the one we lost on the operating table and we all shed hot tears, for the ones that had to deal with post partum complications for the rest of the their lives…for myself and my pregnancy journey; the one that stayed and the one that messed me up so bad and still left…" Second Question: Does this talk about it being a death sentence or being high risk. Third Question: Is Malaria a death sentence. I lost my own younger sister to Malaria. Should I say Malaria is a death sentence? Answer these questions... no insults, just pure discussion.

Unrivalled!
Here’s the conclusion of Obama’s rousing speech in Georgia tonight

From the very beginning, the story was about Christ (featuring detours and human errors and disobedience and destructions to prevent the appearance of Christ for the ultimate salvation of man). It is the manifest expression of the Father’s Love. Angels marvel at this.
You know what wrecked me when I was newly Christian? Genesis 22. For years as a Muslim, I was told the story was about Ishmael. Then I actually read it. I think the bigger topic isn't Isaac or Ishmael. It's this: Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son in the first place? What kind of God does that? The answer hit me like a freight train, because it shattered my Muslim worldview. God wasn't being cruel, He was painting a picture. Abraham never goes through with sacrificaing Isaac. God stops him, then God provides a ram in his place. That action is not just a test or an isolated story: That's prophetic. It's a blueprint. The blueprint goes: A father. A son. A sacrifice. A substitute. You see where I am going with this. Genesis 22 is actually the heartbeat of the Gospel. God was foreshadowing the day when He Himself would provide the sacrifice. Not for one man. Not only for one family. But for the whole world. Of course, salvation wasn't earned by Abraham's performance. It came through God's provision. You can recieve this substitute and gift. Here's what made me stop and think: The Quran retells the story of Genesis 22, but removes the name of the son. Why? Because once you start following the thread through Genesis, the prophets, and the covenant promises, you eventually have to wrestle with the Lamb that comes later. You have to wrestle with Jesus. The perfect sacrifice that every previous sacrifice pointed toward. And that's when I realized: The story was never ultimately about Abraham. It was always about what God was going to do for us. And there's nothing we can do to earn His approval! We can only receive the sacrifice He already provided.

One of the most interesting chats I had in 100L was a discussion about who a hero is. The Political science & Philosophy student in the group explained that heroes are local - Your hero is often a villain to another group/the ROW. Selah.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Mao Zedong is under any single social metric a dictator. Not a single popular election, single government party and lifetime leadership. Not even taking into account the millions of deaths under his reign. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mao_Zedong

Bayern is such a sophisticated club I must say. Their culture seems great. I’m glad to see Harry Kane get the recognition he deserves. Not seeking self-glory, yet getting glorified. Such a great captain for his country.
