Don't "fine" Google. Instead - arrest, convict, and imprison every Google executive responsible. They can't keep getting away with this kind of evil.
Google did this to build a data center in Finland. It was illegal, but they did it anyway. Big Tech is out of control.

I know we are all numb but here’s the sitting president threatening to do war crimes to 90 million people in front of the entire UN
Trump to the UN: "Do I annihilate the Islamic Republic, and do it quickly? Do I drive them into hell?"

FUN FACT: Mitch McConnell has been on paid medical leave for 51 days now. That's over 7 weeks. This is a week longer than the 6 weeks of maternity leave that women in the US are not guaranteed after giving birth.

the fact that they’re actively silencing anyone who opposes the construction of these data should say everything u need to know abt these ai companies and their intentions
3 New Mexico residents were just arrested during a public meeting about a massive Oracle AI and OpenAI data center. The data center is set to be larger than Central Park at 1,400 acres when it is complete.

WOAH 🚨 Democrat Costa Mesa, California Mayor John Stephens says he has never seen an issue where “virtually 100% of the people gave the same position on it” for wanting Flock cameras cancelled Right after saying this, he voted to keep the Flock camera contract INSANE “I don't think that I've ever in 10 years had an item that's come before us where virtually 100% of the people gave the same position on it, and including people that are on email. — Yeah, I'm concerned about the people that came up and said sincerely that the flock is impacting their trust in the police department” Right after this he voted to keep the Flock cameras These people do not work for the American people This is how far gone our Government is

This person submitted a FOIA request to his City for HIS OWN LICENSE PLATE (Flock Data) and was DENIED due to "privacy concerns." I REPEAT: When a man requested FLOCK FOOTAGE of HIS OWN CAR, the CITY claimed it was a PRIVACY VIOLATION and DENIED his request. So Flock can SPY on you in a mass surveillance state but YOU cannot even see YOUR OWN data or surveillance footage of YOU YOURSELF. Make it make sense.

Oh fuck you. FUCK you. You don't get to do this now. You don't get to turn around and go "Oopsie poopsie, we made a mistake!" This was YOUR genocide, motherfuckers. YOURS. You chose it. You own it. Forever. The stench of the rotting corpses in Gaza will follow you for all time.

This is the outcome AI companies wanted. They were in the wrong, didn't care, they knew it would result in a fine & they could carry on with the data. In a fair market creators would be protected & in control of their work & AI companies would be forced to negotiate licensing.

Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it. Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying. Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence." Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter." Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter. They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created. One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility." Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies. That's the metered intelligence business model. And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
