Well well well
Last week, @X sued several people who abused Creator Revenue Sharing by operating a coordinated network of accounts, posting inauthentic content to manipulate engagement, and using multiple bank accounts to hide their scheme.
We do not tolerate fraudulent behavior on X -- and will act forcefully to protect our platform and the earnings of genuine creators.

I have no idea what memories I will uncover of this mini dv tape i just found….
I wonder what the equivalent will be for my kids🤔
Now to see if I can find the old video recorder and battery to play it back on.
👀
Starting 8/24, views will count the moment a video begins to play (w/ no minimum watch time) across all formats (VOD, Shorts, & Live). We’re standardizing views to reflect creators’ true exposure across YouTube, making it easier to show their value to brand partners.
This update won't impact creator earnings or YPP eligibility.

At this point in history, with this technology available to almost everyone, if you are not waking up each morning thinking, “Holy fk”**....then you are not paying enough attention.
The biggest risk is no longer that AI cannot do enough.
It is that we fail to imagine enough for it to do.
Love it
We're hiring a Research Engineer at @Arsenal ⚽🔴⚪ to work directly with our Men's First Team!
We're building state-of-the-art AI models for the football domain. This role will focus on building the application layer for our research to advance coaching and analysis workflows.
Glad to know I am in good company, I always encourage people to do this.
One pattern I find useful for working with LLMs is a nice long ramble session. Sometimes the LLM needs more bits to understand what you're trying to achieve, but you're too lazy to type them. In these cases I like to lean back, switch to /voice and just ramble for like 10 minutes, total mess, anything goes, full stream of consciousness. Sometimes I declare it up top, something like "switching to speech recognition sorry for any typos...". Sometimes I turn it into a small interview of a few turns. But I find that the LLMs are somehow very good at reconstructing long incoherent rambles and often their echo of your own tangle of thoughts comes out quite a bit cleaner than what you started with. The result is that you improve the mind meld and have to correct things less from that point on.

we're launching BUZZ!
a new groupchat platform for teams of people and agents of all sizes, built to reduce our dependency on slack and github. model-agnostic, decentralized, self-sovereign, and open source. 🐝

Now that would throw the cat amongst the pigeons
Elon’s original vision of an open, American AI was right.
He could still flip Grok to open source which could be checkmate.
Why?
If you flip Grok open source, you necessarily move all margins out of the model layer and down into the infrastructure (chips + CSPs) and above to apps.
He owns a massive data center build, owns next gen inference AI and owns the most used app (Cursor). So arguably he would make *more* margin by doing this. Then moving the DCs to space makes even more sense.
Had an amazing five days in NYC last week.
Everyone we met was so warm and welcoming, and my 16-year-old was completely inspired by the energy & possibilities of the city. So much so, he’s now looking into how he might study or work there.
#NewYork ❤️
