Most people believe hard work alone can make anyone succeed at anything. The smartest know this is false. Cognitive ability is 50-80% heritable by adulthood per twin studies. Talent and starting conditions set hard limits. Effort multiplies existing capacity but cannot create it. Denying biology wastes lives and fuels false equality narratives.

1. End the war.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

This is why Republicans lost the midterms btw.
In case anyone was wondering. This right here.

THE LABOR DEPARTMENT JUST DROPPED NEW WAGE DATA AND IT'S BRUTAL.
Corporate profits up 47% since 2020.
Worker wages up 12% in the same period.
Meanwhile groceries up 35%, rent up 40%, utilities up 28%.
Your paycheck grew 12%. Your bills grew 35%.
The math is simple: you're getting poorer every year even when you get a raise.
You can't budget your way out of this. The system is designed so your income can never catch up to your expenses.
That's not an accident. That's policy.

MYSTERIOUS GREEN LIGHTS CAPTURED NEAR SKINWALKER RANCH
Something unusual was captured in the night sky near the infamous Skinwalker Ranch in Utah.
A viewer sent me this footage showing several strange green lights appearing and fading in the darkness. According to the viewer, the person who recorded it has family living near the ranch, a location known for decades of unexplained reports.
Has anyone in the area witnessed anything similar?

✈️ Jersey’s “Drones” Just Shut Down the Airport Again
For a second straight night, unauthorized objects described as drones have forced Jersey Airport to divert and cancel inbound flights, with police reporting two or three of them entering restricted airspace and no operators yet identified despite multi agency searches.
The same pattern has now appeared over multiple nights, echoing the silent, persistent craft that have closed runways and military bases elsewhere while remaining resistant to ordinary tracking and countermeasures.
Why would conventional hobby drones appear on consecutive evenings, force commercial traffic to divert, then leave no identifiable launch sites or controllers when the airspace is under active watch?
If these objects follow the same behavioral profile as the UAP documented over other sensitive sites, extended loiter, no clear origin, and the ability to disrupt operations without being intercepted, then the label “drone” may be functioning as a temporary cover for activity that does not fit known technology.
The longer the operators stay missing and the objects keep returning, the harder it becomes to treat this as ordinary illegal flying rather than part of a wider pattern of non-human or highly compartmentalized craft operating above critical infrastructure.

🚨BREAKING🚨: Scientist says the sun may be conscious, intelligent plasma clouds may transmit semantic information across outer space, and ball lightning seems to behave intelligently, mimicking biological life.
Rupert Sheldrake, a biologist known for constructing morphic field theory, which involves inherited learning across generations of species beyond genetics and epigenetics, says organized plasma might support a mind without a brain. He points to magnetic plasma filaments stretching between galaxies and describes a theory from independent researcher Robert Temple: a cloud at the L5 Lagrange point between the Earth and Moon might be intelligent enough to return radio signals seconds after transmission (explaining the “Long Delay Echo” phenomenon in the early 20th century at the advent of the radio).
Sheldrake’s other investigations into morphic fields, consciousness outside the body and “the sense of being stared at” have drawn attention from British intelligence. He has long documented the idea of “scopeasthesia” (the sense of being stared at) by subjects in controlled experimental conditions. He says a visitor from MI5, Britain's domestic intelligence agency, asked whether terrorists could learn to sense security cameras.
His theory of morphic resonance goes further, proposing that nature inherits patterns of behavior across time and distance. Sheldrake cites rat water-maze studies in which rats at Edinburgh and Melbourne began at the level reached by Harvard rats after generations of “training” to follow the correct route in a maze. He interprets this as possible evidence of shared memory. To illustrate how invisible fields can influence chance, he uses magnets to change the distribution of steel balls falling through a Galton board.
Sheldrake wants practical tests of these unusual abilities. He proposes a global app collecting reports of strange animal behavior before earthquakes, and is surveying firefighters who say they wake moments before unpredictable alarms. He believes he can construct a workable model for presentiment that may become practical for specific use cases.
