the ao3 discourse thing kinda saddens me because i totally sympathize with people wanting more eyes on their work bc at the end of the day, art is a communal craft, and being told "just create for yourself" by people who by and large arent artists/writers rings hollow
you need a healthy balance of creating for yourself to build a self identity with your craft and the desire to build community with both creatives and consumers to satisfy that part of your soul that wants to talk about your craft if that makes sense

mass layoffs of animators, especially contracted ones, is unfortunately extremely common and a large contributing factor to why iβm not involved in animation anymore.

If a leak is traced to an animator it can lose them their job- this is not a Spindlehorse thing is an EVERY INDUSTRY thing.
Spreading leaks directly affects the people working at the show and they've been begging you guys to stop it with the bs for years.
