Kris Jenner argues that a messy car is the ultimate red flag in business, revealing why she judges people based on how they treat their vehicles “One time I was asked to speak to a group of kids that were graduating from high school… they said, ‘What advice do you have for these young girls?’ And I said, ‘Keep your car clean.’ And they were like, ‘What?’ Have you ever noticed that people with a really messy car, like French fries mushed into them, paper cups and drinks thrown around, and clothes from last week… I could not think or be in a car like that. I don’t care what kind of a car it is. I remember I had a red Mazda, was my first car, and it was a little hatchback. I used to treat this car like it was my most prized possession. I washed it once or twice a week myself. I vacuumed it out… I wish that it was legal if I was interviewing somebody to have somebody sneak down and look at the inside… because it just kind of represents organizational skills and discipline.”
