The blue tsunami in the mid-terms is not shocking.
What’s shocking is that millions of Americans still support a party of pedophiles, rapists, neo-nazis, child beaters, women haters, liars and scammers.
Because State fans always believe they’re the exceptional case. 😂
NC State is apparently serious about hiring Phillip Rivers.
When will these folks ever learn that hiring the big name with no college coaching experience NEVER WORKS?
That and my CFP rankings thoughts in this week's Mailbag.

And this is exactly why, even if Philip Rivers is hired and he is a fantastic college coach, I don’t trust the current NC State admin not to royally fuck things up for him along the way. They are constantly doing stupid, embarrassing things.

So now that Russell is in the mix everyone sees the absurdity of it all. Welp better late than never I suppose. Grab a chair we’ve got Jet’s Pizza and Woodford’s Reserve in the back.

Sometimes down, but never out. 😤
The Dubs have come back from double-digit deficits in each of the last three games.

What are the discussions about? Assuming he’s Boo’s guy, then what is the sticking point? Rivers unsure? Rivers worried about contract details?
And if it’s the other way, if Boo is unsure what exactly can Rivers do at this point to change that?
An update on Philip Rivers and the NC State head coaching opening:
The two sides are expected to have further communication in the near future and there’s continued momentum at the moment toward Rivers ultimately being the hire, sources tell @CBSSports.
Nothing final at this point though.

Lubin couldn't miss in his season debut 🎯
@LubinVen went a perfect 8-for-8 from the field, including 3-for-3 from deep, to finish with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in NC State's 83-64 win over Campbell.

I said this, too. If there is a Patrick Stacy in college football, we need to find him and lock him down.
Seconded. @PatrickJStacy you are the GOAT.
I like the look of this new @PackMensBball team. Gotta work on the chemistry, but no one in their right mind can complain about a 19-point win to kick off the season and the Gainey era.
