this happened to me recently. One of my friends wanted to spend £954 on a 3-night trip, I said I can’t do it and sent a cheaper better alternative, and she said I was penny pinching, and asked me to put it on a credit card (I don’t use one), and said maybe I shouldn’t do the trip

As a Forest fan, I have zero love for United. My two penneth is: their culture has been suffocated. First by the Glazers and further by Ratcliffe. United is being led by unlikeable, passionless, cynical and penny pinching characters. They set the tone and, like a waterfall, it flows down, through every channel and into every corner. They have sucked the life & soul out of that football club. It’s only their hardcore, longstanding fanbase keeping their identity alive and yet they are doing everything to get them gone with their draconian season ticket policies.

It's not a direct criticism of his team mates it's realism and possibly a defence of some of the younger players that have been shoved out of position at full back and the manager. He said how well they performed last season and that they needed help and additions to the squad.

How can it be a screen and deflection when this is not a recent drop of form. This club is underperforming since 2013 and we all know the main reason behind it. No point calling out players when the club is rotten from the core.

Didn't they perform last season to finish in top 4. Isn't the lack of investment and competence at the top reason enough for bad morale and drop in levels?? This inconsistency among players will remain until the issues(ownership and structure)at the top are addressed.
