Amanda Seyfried was so charming and funny and interesting.
During a November 2025 interview with CBS Sunday Morning’s @BenMank77, actress Amanda Seyfried revisited her portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes in #TheDropout and showed off her impression of the former Theranos CEO.
When Mankiewicz asked her to improvise a line as Holmes, Seyfried casually revealed, “I’ve had some practice lately,” possibly hinting that she had been revisiting the voice. Now, with the release of the documentary #YouCanSeeEverything, Seyfried's comment may have been an early hint at what was to come.
Academy Award-winning special make-up effects artist and actor @TheRickBaker shares the monsters and maker that inspired his craft – as he reflects on the work of pioneering make-up artist, Jack Pierce.

For the love of God, read your own tweet. You just started on these movies, so you didn’t know much about an indie filmmaker. That tracks. Yet you now that people who love these movies praise Cassavetes constantly in their Criterion Closet picks. SO WATCH A CASSAVETES MOVIE. Then watch another. And another.
I don’t want to put too much pressure on you, but he’s also a fine actor.
OK, I'll bite. If John Cassavetes is so insanely influential and brilliant, why have I not heard about him until recently?
I've been on a side-quest with classic and esoteric movies, mostly through the Criterion collection. I've watched dozens of Criterion closet picks from filmmakers and actors I admire.
They pick Cassavetes films ALL THE TIME. Probably more than any other director except Scorsese. I haven't seen a single Cassavetes film. I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about a Cassavetes film outside of those videos.
I'm not a slouch on film, I've got a pretty wide spread on what I've seen & what I appreciate. How has Cassavetes slipped through that net so completely for so long?

Phil Hartman was born on this day, and if I had to pick a Mount Rushmore of his greatest characters, I'd go with:
-Captain Carl (PEE-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE)
-Caveman Lawyer (SNL)
-Frankenstein's Monster (SNL)
-Bill McNeal (NEWSRADIO)

Obama is absolutely right here.
There is no doubt that if we had more women in charge, there would be less war, better healthcare, better education, and less income inequality.
Obama: "If you put women in charge of every government for two years... I have a strong belief that things would be better. I'm confident about that."

I lived through the Biden years when MAGA bitched and cried every fucking day about gas prices.
When Joe Biden left office, gas was $3.10.
Gas prices are now $4.47/gallon.
Groceries, utilities are higher too.
Diesel is TWICE it was under Biden.
trump's tariffs and war did that.
So MAGA, you can take your "Biden left us a mess," and shove it up your own asses.
It has been 621 days.
He was elected on LOWERING prices.
All he's done in 612 days is:
- stuff his own pockets
- start a new fucking war
- make billionaires RICHER
- attack our mail-in ballots
- cut healthcare for the poor
- fall asleep in every meeting
- messed up the reflecting pool
- make everything more expensive
- start a trade war with our neighbor
- ban the press from the White House
- try to put his name on Kennedy Center
- got his son contracts with the Pentagon
- weaponize the DOJ against his enemies
- protect the pedophiles in the Epstein Files
- bitch and whine about Biden and the media
- tried to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario (nobody with sense is calling it that)
But he hasn't done a damn thing about yours and my gas, groceries, housing, healthcare, and utilities.
Stinky needs to go.

Just a reminder that in 40 days we're voting against this woman.
If she wins, humanity loses.
Vote.
MAGA mama takes license plate photo to send ICE of door dash driver who's not speaking English—"You're taking away our jobs!"
"You're illegal... why are you entitled to be here with a illegal car?" woman yells.
"Go speak your language back in Mexico!"
She seems to be confused about exactly who she hates—the driver asks her if she is an "Islamophobe"—yet she continues to tell her to "go back to Mexico."
The incident occurred in a fast food parking lot in Flower Mound, Texas—about 20 miles northwest of downtown Dallas. #DemsUnited

Wishing my dear friend, Jim Henson, a happy 90th birthday in Heaven.
Did you know that @TheMuppets were once part of my live show?
Jim, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, and John Lovelady, the Muppeteers were invited to join us on stage by my late husband, Hugh Lambert, after Hugh visited the Henson workshop. Jim jumped at the opportunity because he was looking to expand the Muppets beyond children’s television. He was happy to take them to Las Vegas and play to an adult audience, because he thought the wildly successful Sesame Street had led people to believe that was all the Muppets did.
We opened at the International Hotel in Las Vegas on June 16, 1971. The show was a critical and commercial smash, breaking the box-office records that I had previously set during my Las Vegas debut less than two years earlier. It was an exciting time, and let me tell you, it was nearly impossible to make it through “Mahna Mahna” each night with Harry without breaking out into laughter!!
Audiences of all ages adored the Muppets. Our show was a launching pad for the lovable bunch of creatures to become the icons we know today. My Hughie, in his brilliance, was responsible for taking the Muppets off Sesame Street and into primetime.
Our show was adapted into a television special and soundtrack, Movin’ With Nancy Nice ‘n’ Easy, that sadly went unreleased after NBC pulled its funding. Jim gave the Muppet footage to me, but he passed away without anything in writing, so it has been sitting in my vault in limbo ever since.
I hope that one day I’ll be able to share what we created.
Happy birthday, Jim. I miss you.
