I wasn’t planning to build an infrastructure product. I just wanted to make deploying and managing applications less expensive and unnecessarily complicated. Hi, I’m Adejare, and I’m 20. Over time, working on different projects and deploying applications, I started noticing how much developers had to spend just to get their products online. Between expensive infrastructure, complicated configurations and multiple platforms, getting an idea from development to production shouldn’t be this difficult. So I decided to build something about it. It’s called @rimbrapp. Rimbra is a hosting platform built for developers, startups and businesses that want reliable infrastructure without the usual complexity or ridiculous costs. We’re bringing the essentials together in one place, making it easier to deploy, host and manage the applications you’re building without having to piece together multiple services. No unnecessary complexity. No intimidating infrastructure. No pricing that punishes you for starting small. Just infrastructure that makes sense. Today, November 2, Rimbra officially goes live. This isn’t just another project I’ve decided to put on the internet. It’s something I’ve spent time thinking about, building and refining because I believe access to good infrastructure shouldn’t be a luxury. We’re just getting started. If you’re building something, we want to make sure hosting isn’t the thing standing between you and getting it out there. What’s live on Rimbra V1? 1. Hosting – Deploy and manage your applications with affordable, reliable infrastructure. 2. Email API – Integrate and send transactional emails directly from your applications. 3. Social Notifications API – Power social notifications in your applications through a simple API. Welcome to Rimbra. Let’s build, rimbra.app — Adejare Founder, Rimbra

The internet is proof that you don't need to be the richest person in the room to build something meaningful. You need a skill, a problem worth solving, and the discipline to keep going when nobody is paying attention. Start small. Think bigger.

I do genuinely believe the world would immediately become better off if we replaced all the blokes in charge with women. Women are infinitely more helpful, nurturing, caring. That’s what the world needs right now.

Your landlord increased your house rent from 10k to 100k which you couldn't afford. He then goes on to establish a loan company for you to obtain a loan to pay the rent. Should you praise him or hate him?

Sorry to ask: Should a human being be allowed to be a veterinary doctor? Because how can a human being know how to treat a German Shepherd when you have never had the same life experiences as a dog? Personally I think dogs should treat dogs. Cats should treat cats. That’s the way it should actually be. If this sounds stupid to you, congratulations, your brain is working (and that’s a very rare thing on this app these days). Anyway this question and tweet is not about dogs, cats or veterinary doctors.

we've now accepted 20+ startups into the inaugural 16vc accelerator. our selection process has been intentional. we've prioritised founders who have already built at least 50% of what they're setting out to build, founders who have executed independently, shipped products, acquired users, and demonstrated real traction. we're looking for people who have shown they can make things happen with the resources they have, not just people saying what they could build if they had funding. for the remaining spots, we're taking more time with due diligence. we want to make sure we can add meaningful value to every company we bring into the cohort. the goal isn't simply to fill 25 spots. it's to build a group of founders who can learn from each other and execute together. final selections by mid-november.
We've now completed interviews with founders for the inaugural 16VC Accelerator. 20+ startups have been accepted, while the remaining applications are progressing through due diligence. We're building a global cohort of ambitious pre-seed and seed founders. 25 companies. $200K upfront. London · San Francisco · New York. We'll finalise the cohort and close all remaining spots by mid-November. More updates soon.
