You scored 83 last season and fans aren’t allowed to hold you to a certain standard? A’ja wouldn’t say nothing like this if she was struggling.
Bam Adebayo on his shooting struggles this season: “It's funny how the outside noise wants to make me the scapegoat. When the energy shifts, be prepared for that.” (@TheHeatCentral)

Horrible showing from Karl Smesko tonight as well. Awful challenge decisions, horrible rotations, awful timeouts, and when your starting guard gets her head taken off, it’s NO excuse for you to not be knocking everything over, technical foul be damned

More critiques of reffing. Angel Reese said that after the Dream went up 2-1, the reffing changed in Golden State’s favor @Winsidr
You should’ve expressed this during the game. Said it all year that the refs are going to have to feel you at some point as a coach. Fight harder for your players in the heat of battle.

Valks are just a better well-coached team at this point. Dream offense is stagnant....no energy....no imagination. A low scoring game like this plays into the hands of the Valks.

As bad as the refs have been, Atlanta has also played terrible basketball tonight. Just awful.

We can’t. Don’t let the Twitter world get to you. Giving up on him would be dumb and irrational. I’ve had to stop reading Twitter during games because I feel like I’m going insane.
He hasn’t been good, but with how bad the team has been as a whole the negativity has became so loud that every bad throw is hyper analyzed to the point where one bad throw erases the good.
He was good yesterday outside the interception (and bellinger miss that he immediately made up for). There was a reason he was #4 graded PFF QB this week. Some massive third down completions. The drive that got stuffed on the goal line was the most efficient I’ve seen from him all season. He scored on the QB sneak and the staff didn’t even think to challenge it. He had some big drops later (Tate+wandale) that could’ve kept drives alive. Not to mention the Tate fumble on a big first down later.
He had a clutch game tying drive and his defense immediately let him down, just like the Philly game. We scored 24 points, gave up 500 yards to the Browns and you still have hundreds on here putting all the blame on the young quarterback. That should show you the bias that so many have online when it comes to evaluating Cam.
There are some positives no one is pointing out - such as his turnover rate. (Hilarious one of the criticisms I saw yesterday is how he is turning the ball over at an “alarming rate”) He has 5 turnovers all year (a little better than middle of the pack in the NFL) 2 of those being tipped balls, while at this point last year he had 10. He had 5 fumbles lost through 7 games last year, this year he has 0. Not to mention he has the #1 WR drop rate in the NFL, which I’m sure a bunch of people will blame Cam for how he throws the football.
There is so much nuance in this discussion but the easiest thing for everyone to do is blame the quarterback who is on his 5th offensive coordinator in 5 seasons. The only stat that is down 7 weeks in compared to last year is passing yards & a big reason is time of possession is down quite a bit - long sustained drives from our opponents killing the clock especially in the first half of games.
Cam was a different QB 2nd half of the season last year as he got comfortable in the new offense, let’s see how he looks 2nd half of this season.
