Yes @bing, when searching for Madrid I did mean Madrid, New Mexico, population 247, and not the second largest city in the EU.
Something is happening in central Bath this evening. Police helicopter circling, followed by a police dog car speeding into town.
The number of people who walk down a street and knock over every cone astounds me. Literally happening 2-3 times a night.
Even more surprising is the number of people who walk a few meters behind them putting the cones back!
Things I've learnt today:
1. Cycling is more fun when you're on the bike
2. Gloves are very useful
3. First aid kits are also really useful
I made a map of dentists in England currently accepting new adult patients, according to the NHS website.
There are none in the South West. None.

BathFood is now available on Mastodon!

I think this might be the end of @BathFood ☹️
Trains in the evening are cancelled, and I can't use my tickets on the ones running after 3pm. Some good planning from @GWRHelp there!
I have two sets of Christmas lights - one with 200 LEDs and one with 40 older fairy lights.
The older lights use 35W, and the LEDs use 5W.
At current prices, only using the LEDs will be a saving of about £3.50 for me.
Starting to wonder if @awscloud support's solution to everything is to use atop. It seems to be their go-to solution for everything nowadays.
Since Twitter's future is looking perilous ... @_duncan_@mastodon.online

Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: facebook.com/DavidCameronOff…
Apparently they need to turn off my electricity for up to half an hour to install a gas smart meter. Seems a bit unnecessary to me!
This graph of my energy costs is the same graph I tweeted a few weeks ago, but using the updated price cap. I'm staggered at how different the graphs are.

And I've finally been offered a fixed electricity price that may save me money vs the predicted price caps for the next year. 69p/kWh is not cheap though.
This is how much energy has cost me over the past few years, and expected to cost until the end of 2023.
I live in a small flat. These numbers are just staggering.
It wasn't until I made a similar graph a month or so ago that it really hit how bad this is going to get.
A few notes on the graph:
* Historic data is my actual usage and rates
* Future estimates uses previous gas usage and predicted (lower) elec usage
* Predictions from the latest @CornwallInsight update
* Includes the £400 government support
* Factors in regional prices for the SW
