the older I get, the more I realize that time is one of the purest forms of love. Everyone is busy. Everyone has responsibilities and battles you may know nothing about. So when someone consistently makes time for you, checks on you, and makes space for you in their life, appreciate it.

Being a medical student is so infantilizing, i have no control over anything in my life, no money, no autonomy whatsoever. Add on the fact that my friends outside medicine are in control of all aspects of their lives & we’re the same ages. When do i start feeling like an adult?
