Jacinda Arden quitting her job by saying that she “doesn’t have enough in the tank” is a gentle reminder that no job, not even being prime minister, is worth losing all of you.
I just moved to the US from New Zealand, is it normal banks to withhold your money?
I opened up a bank account with @Chase and the next day deposited $40,000
Chase locked me out & their fraud team told me they have the right to refuse to bank with me, and that they’ve closed my bank account.
I asked what I did wrong, I asked if I could prove my identity, my O1 visa, passport and proof of funds. They refused & said it was final.
They said they will mail a $40k cheque and to wait 20 business days for it to arrive?
Me after I explain why investing in index funds is better than managed funds (we're at a baby shower)
I truly believe a rich life includes living in a beautiful city that you want to live in, instead of trying to live somewhere subpar, just because it has lower taxes
Boring investments work
That fun IPO share I bought? down
That startup I invested in? still no return
The S&P500? shooting to the moon
Always replying with “thanks boss” when little girls give me instructions so that they get used to hearing it 💁🏻♀️
Imagine a dating app but with full financial transparency. Like yeah I make this much, I’m a spender, my biggest money goal is to retire early - do we align?
No one talks about how getting richer makes life safer as a young woman. Taking an Uber instead of a bus at night because you can afford it is a game changer. I was in a unsafe area & uber couldn’t find me a driver quickly. I ordered a lux uber & it arrived in 2 minutes.

If you're under 40, please read this:
Millions of guys in their 20's & 30's right now think they can pick stocks.
They think they're the next Warren Buffett & they can beat the S&P 500.
..Please know 100% of them will fail miserably & wish they just index fund & chilled.
Unpopular opinion, achieving your potential is a privilege not offered to many
My grandpa went from refugee in india to school principal
My dad went from poverty in rural India to living in suburbia in New Zealand
Me? Growing up in a stable country in suburbia? Where all I had to focus on was my education?
Of course I’m going to try do well.
Why is no one talking about how GOOD it feels to see your investments go up when you choose to hold instead of panic sell
