I have so much heart for the $KNIGHT Cavalry. Like, genuinely. 💯 We never had the privilege of being constantly highlighted by big chain accounts, ecosystems, or whatever. I never DM’d a single person asking them to join. We didn’t pay KOLs. I ignored most of the promo offers and “partnerships” that showed up after launch. And you have NO idea how many times I’ve been advised: “Just kill the coin.” “Why do you even need it?” “Knight is becoming a serious fintech company. Focus on that.” I understand where they’re coming from. But when I look at this community, I don’t just see a coin. I see people who somehow found the same worldview I’ve been building toward, and decided to stay. We started with 41 people. Then around 300 by the 3rd week. Now we’re around 900 before we even hit our 1st month, and the Discord is starting to grow into its own little corner of the internet too. And man 😭 every time I read somebody’s thesis on @fomo, “I’ve been here since day 1,” it genuinely makes my day. 🥺🥺 Because real talk: a LOT of projects spend ridiculous amounts of money trying to manufacture this feeling. Campaigns, gimmicks, influencers, engagement farms, whatever. We didn’t have any of that. 💯 I’ve basically been the indie artist with no record label behind her. 😂 Just me building @KnightIntelco, telling people what I actually think, and the bravest group of soldiers who decided to stand beside me in the trenches. And lemme tell you, our cavalry members- we’ve got bankers in Singapore, architects, engineers, doctors, fintech PhD students, builders, researchers - people from completely different worlds somehow ending up in the same "delusion" as me 🤣 That we can fight fragmentation in context for cross-border finance! Since September 8, we’ve been indie as fuck. And I kind of love that. The OGs know what this looked like when there were barely enough of us to fill a group chat. Now I’m watching you make art, write theses, translate things, debate ideas, build lore, and slowly turn the Cavalry into something that exists beyond me. That part means more to me than you probably realize. I’m just really happy we found each other. 🫶 I won’t take this community for granted. We keep building. 🫡 🐎
