I think the better approach would have been to advise him to see a dermatologist rather than publicly suggest an HIV test.
I’m pretty sure you know the psychological impact of such a comment, especially when you have no diagnosis…..

And yet, when government wanted to restrict preaching in commercial buses, how long did it take some religious leaders to speak up and push back?
But when children are allegedly sexually abused, suddenly we must be patient?
Please miss me with that!
You might be a leader of your church if you’re speaking against it then that’s good to know.

Emmanuel, don’t be disingenuous. It’s dishonest of you to expect pastors to speak on every issue immediately it happens. Again, some of us condemning these issues are religious leaders ourselves.
Gone too far? Some of your comments tell me exactly the kind of person you are.
We are talking about at least 19 cases of alleged sexual abuse involving a headmaster who, clearly has political power to influence these allegations leveled against him meanwhile efforts were made to persuade families to settle or withdraw complaints.
And your concern is that people are speaking too emotionally? Chale no make I vex this morning abeg.
Replying to @_iamsamani
Some of you have gone too far , emotional and personal with this issue knowing very well that if these allegations that's get proven in court, you won't have the integrity to apologise to anyone.
Clearly you’re not following the coverage on @JoyNewsOnTV . If you were you won’t be asking these questions.
It’s my off day wai, no ruin my mood. Shalom!

You have evidence that their parents are being induced and you are keeping it to yourself? As a journalist you should be doing more than that. Prominent people can't risk their reputation for a matter that's keenly contested. They will speak when there is a court verdict. Relax
Child protection issue you want us to hold political leaders accountable yet you don’t expect religious leaders to use their platforms to condemn alleged abuse of children? Some of you ankasa er
You want the case to get to court before religious leaders speak against the alleged sexual abuse of children???? Especially when parents of these same children are being induced? Wow just wow..
Replying to @_iamsamani
A case is yet to get to court, and you want prominent people to do what? We are told 19 girls are involved but as we speak, about 2 girls have reported. Tomorrow these 2 may change their mind, and say nothing happened and prominent people will be looking stupid. Let be patient
Sad but hilarious 😂😂😂
Not a single public condemnation from our major religious leaders over the Obuasi SHS sexual abuse allegations?
Where are the Catholic Bishops, the Christian Council of Ghana, the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, the Chief Imam and other religious bodies?
Why have we not heard a united call for a swift investigation and justice for these children?
Our religious leaders cannot speak loudly about morality but go silent when children are allegedly abused.

Information reaching me is that some people approached parents of children allegedly sexually assaulted by the Obuasi SHS headmaster, promising to sponsor their children’s education through university if they dropped the cases because Zakaria was a political leader who would be disgraced if the matter became public.
Let that sink in. A child’s alleged abuse, traded for university fees?
If true, this is beyond disturbing. No child’s dignity should be bargained away, and justice must never be for sale.
The allegations must be investigated and the pursuit of justice must continue.

Embattled Obuasi SHTS Headmaster says he’s been cautioned and granted self-recognisance bail wai.
Legal luminaries, what does this mean?
