According to Hugh McCullum, "Biafra is a history which Nigeria will NEVER successfully rewrite, nor silence of the world erase".
At d peak of Civil war, Biafra suffered a lot due to economic blockade and deployment of hunger by FGN as a weapon of war ...1/

One of the most stupidest thing I see Nigerian politicians do is going to another country in advance to welcome the "president" who is visiting that same country.
After the auxiliary bishop of Enugu, Most Rev. Dr. Ernest Anaezichukwu Obodo, rejected his appointment into Governor Peter Mbah’s APC Campaign Council in Enugu State, ex-Minister John Nwodo equally rejected his inclusion. Mbah is struggling to market himself to ndi Enugu, not to talk of Tinubu 😂
From all indications, INEC Chairman, Josh Amupitan, will do a terrible job & must not conduct this 2027 election. INEC is heavily compromised.
Keep sharing the money, what a way to "empower" the yuuuts 😂
Mbah presents cheque awards to winners of Enugu good governance jingles competition
Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has presented cash prize cheques to winners of the 2026 Good Governance Jingles Competition, which attracted 157 entries and produced 20 winners.
The competition, organised by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Mainstream Media in partnership with the Tomorrow Is Here Movement (TIH), was designed to discover and promote home-grown musical talents while harnessing creative expressions to communicate the achievements, vision and developmental programmes of the Mbah administration and mobilise support for his re-election in 2027.
Presenting the cheques on behalf of the Governor at the Government House, Enugu, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, commended the participants for their creativity, originality and commitment, as reflected in their compositions.
Onyia said the competition was conceived to harness the creative talents of Enugu youths, deepen grassroots engagement and provide a platform for young people to contribute to the state's development narrative through music.
He described Governor Mbah as a leader who believes in the potential of young people and the creative industry as drivers of economic growth and political mobilisation, adding that the competition represented an opportunity for participants to explore wider prospects beyond political jingles.
"The monies you are given are just a token of our appreciation. It's symbolic that in a noble state, when people sit down and put their time into creativity, we must always commend them.
"The Governor is proud of all of you. He's really proud of you. This is the beginning of so many things you're going to win. It will go beyond just party jingles. It will go to other commercial purposes," he said.
Hon. Chunwike Ukuta, popularly known as Pincode, who emerged overall winner with his composition, Ife Ọma Melụ Na B'anyi, receiving the ₦2 million first prize, responded on behalf of the winners.
He thanked Governor Mbah for fulfilling his promise and creating opportunities for young people to showcase their talents, assuring that they would continue to deploy their creativity in promoting the policies and programmes of the administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ukuta also commended the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Mainstream Media, Dan Nwomeh, and the Coordinator of the Tomorrow Is Here Movement, Hon. Tony Okonkwo, for conceiving the competition as an innovative means of discovering and rewarding creative talents in Enugu State.
"Like they say, the reward for good work is more work. Like we know in the music industry, making the music is just one step. Promotion is everything. So right now, we know the work starts now to make sure we support the emergence of our governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, in the 2027 elections.
"And by the grace of God, we'll take this news to the villages, to the hamlets and to the towns across Enugu State. And we'll make sure that at the end of the day, the governor emerges victorious," he said.
Princess Ndidiamaka Okafor emerged second with Peter Mbah Bụ Agụ, winning ₦1 million, while Kelechi Obeta, popularly known as Kelycool, came third with Ndi Enugu Onye Ka Unu Ge-eso Na'azụ?, earning ₦750,000.
Ejike Okonu placed fourth with Afum Onye Kwerum Nkwa Meru Mee, winning ₦600,000, while Solomon Chukwuebuka Ojobor came fifth with It's Time for Us to Reward Our Governor Peter Mbah, receiving ₦500,000.
The sixth to tenth positions, each attracting ₦250,000, went to Blessing Okolo Ogadimma, for Enugu Na Ihe Oma Abia; Ijeoma Agbo, for Ndi Enugu Kunie Nu, Nke Ochiri Achi Du Anyi Mma; Chizoba Okorie, for Ndu Banyi N'Oruwo; Hon. Esther Ugwuefi, for Onyeze; and Maduekwe MaryJane Chinasa, popularly known as Jane C, for Okwute Ndigbo Binie.
Ten additional entries received consolation prizes of ₦100,000 each.
Ka Okeke jee siri army, kedu boot ya? After "driving taxi to fund your education..." show us your certificate? Ekperima
When I first arrived in the United States as a young man, I drove a taxi to earn money for my education. I even had to postpone starting school for several months to save enough.
When I eventually got to Chicago, I worked different jobs to support myself and pay my way through university. I know what it means to worry about tuition, accommodation and how to make ends meet while pursuing an education.
Those experiences have stayed with me.
I know what education made possible in my own life, and I believe every Nigerian child deserves that same opportunity, regardless of where they are born or what their parents can afford.
This is one reason education remains a major priority of our Renewed Hope administration.
Through NELFUND, we have provided over ₦372 billion in student loans for institutional fees and upkeep, helping young Nigerians remain in school and pursue their education.
Our technical and vocational education programme has attracted over 2.8 million applications. We have rehabilitated 38 technical colleges, while students in federal and selected state technical colleges now benefit from free school fees, boarding, textbooks and uniforms.
We have reached a new agreement with ASUU, providing for a 40% increase in academic staff remuneration and measures to improve stability in our universities.
A four-year course must take four years. Our young people deserve to complete their education on time and get on with their lives. Promise made, Promise Kept
In medical education, we are investing ₦110 billion in rehabilitating 24 medical schools. Annual nursing enrolment has increased from 28,000 to 115,000, while medical and dental enrolment has risen from 5,000 to 12,000.
Nigeria needs more doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and we must build the capacity to train them here at home.
Over one million children who were previously out of school have been returned to learning. We are investing in teacher development, expanding educational opportunities for girls, and implementing a new national curriculum that restores Nigerian History to our classrooms.
Our children must know where we have come from, understand the country they belong to, and be prepared to take responsibility for its future.
I commend the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa @DrTunjiAlausa, the Minister of State, Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad @Suwaiba_Said, and the entire education team @NigEducation for their dedication to this important work.
I am particularly pleased that the team has developed an interactive A–Z of the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), bringing together the reforms, programmes, achievements and opportunities across our education system.
I invite every Nigerian to visit edu4pbat.ng and explore the A–Z of NESRI.
If you are a parent, find out what opportunities are available for your children. If you are a student, explore the programmes you can benefit from. If you are a teacher, see what support is available.
And if something is not working as it should in your community, I want to hear about it. Your feedback will help us identify problems and address them.
Our journey from reform to opportunities and shared prosperity must begin with education.
The circumstances of a child’s birth should never determine the limits of their ambition. Our responsibility is to give every Nigerian child a fair chance to fulfil their potential.
We have more work to do, and I am determined to see it through.

You’re a pathetic liar. A student can’t be a taxi driver in the USA 🇺🇸 because they can only work for 20 hours.
A foolish president celebrating loans as an achievement.
What happened to campaigning with
-stable electricity
- low fuel cost
- good roads
-raising the minimum wage.
Only foolish people believe him as well.

Enugu is now using digital card at government health centers.
I went to a Uwani health centre to collect my doctor's report for my tinted permit. When they handed me this card and said, "This is your card," I was wowed.
This is what you now get at any government hospital in Enugu State.
Cards are now digital Scan it and your medical records are there: no more missing folders, no more starting afresh every visit.
Why is Peter Mbah now scared of being re-elected? He should campaign bass on whay he has done.
