Lot to like from the game of 2028 Jacob Only as he made a ton of plays on both ends of the floor. Good size and length as a 6’3 PG. Shot it well from the mid-range and three. Tough on ball defender. @DePaulPrepMBB

The Rams start the summer with a good weekend as they go 4-1 at the LA Shootout. We beat Libertyville, York, Niles West and Oswego. Lose to Benet in the Final 4. Everyone contributed as Blake Choice, Jacob Only and Elie Ghattas stood out. @DePaulPrepAD @joehoopsreport

2028 6”2 Jacob Only @_jacobonly_ with that two way ability. Uses that long frame to get into the teeth and finish high off the glass. So active defensively , such a knack for getting deflections. Fitting in nicely for @DePaulPrepMBB. @YnRbball

Jacob is one of the best two way players in the state!! Absolute beast on defense and can score from anywhere on the court!
2028 6”2 Jacob Only @_jacobonly_ continues to excite with his upside. Such a long and lanky frame causing a ton of havoc defensively. Smooth inside out game. One who will be a fun one watch progress. Player coaches to have on the radar early. @stviatorbball @YnRbball

Saint Viator
The Lions were 24-10 last season and have graduated 4 of their top 6 players. 2 starters return in 6-2 Jr. Dawson Charles and 6-0 Jacob Only.
Charles averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds last year and was honorable mention all-conference and Daily Herald All-Area. Only started every game as a freshman and shines on the defensive end for Saint Viator. Both will look to play at a high level for the Lions.

With the loss of a good senior group Jacob Only should play a much bigger role for St.Viator. The guard showed an elite change of place with a variety of difficult finishes today.
