Good breakthroughs in all my work, and I have been spending a lot of time in cursor, so more AI. I’m trying to have a setup where docs in the repo plus project context and .cursorrc files gives me better code suggestions. Model suggestions?
AI suddenly a part of every day work and I'm getting the hang of all this configuration. Been thinking about AI chatbots lately...how do you not make a crappy one? Good conversation input, back and forth dialogue, has a different perspective
A lot of work lately has me spending more time dumping lots of context and organizing my chat folders so i can have folders sort of be my projects.
Choose llm x for this work, llm y for that work, and figuring out the right question to ask. My minions! Muahaha
It’s business time.
I think after you work for a bunch of small business owners, franchises, and corporations, start your own small business, help others start theirs with software, I started to realize I do enjoy the business side. I ‘get my back up off the wall’
So I've been working on a transition into a specific kind of opportunity, and I'm beginning something new! More later?
fighting kubuntu and the gui and plasma kde menu bar I added, really giving me hell during work. Menu bar hides, eventually can't access it by hotkey, and then I just give up and reboot. Also, function keys on my lenovo stop working, so can't adjust brightness, volume. Reboot.
Found an old reddit post of mine asking questions about swift:

I don't remember what I was talking about. It is in the app graveyard for the moment. But I realized I've been enjoying it for a while, now. I was making a custom carousel animation, I think.
Dont ignore all feedback --- at least, you know, pay attention to recurring themes --- and know that out of all the things you're doing, (even the things you're doing great at) paying attention to recurring themes will remove so many blocks towards your dreams. Ignoring it all?
Really liking this new 100 years of solitude. The surrealism is blended in and the characters so real and relatable.
A lot of people don't really enjoy staying long term in completely new places if they have a choice. I've been long term in 15+ countries and it's not easy, it's definitely pointed out 'areas of improvement' and made my work better. I'm writing about this and sharing soon.
In ironic fate, I paid $10 for a few pages of tough recruiter advice, rewrote my resume completely, got additional advice from a senior developer to rearrange and cut, and with those two changes I’ve had 6 coding assessments, 6 referrals, early stage interviews 4, late stage 1.
I'm trying to remain realistic, but I've made it through a written interview, a coding assessment, a psychometric exam, a culture fit exam, a web UI interview, a Linux systems interview, and an architecture/eng interview! I feel excited either way to have made this happen.
Would love to mod the tesla tower
