🧡A slide deck is not a plan, and a plan is not a slide deck. I'm unsure as to exactly when the conflation of the two things became so deeply entrenched but so deeply is this belief held in some settings that it dictates almost all the approaches to T&L.

Women, the reason you can have a credit card in your own name and don’t need a man’s signature to open a bank account is because of Gloria Steinem. RIP to this queen.

I agree fully. I provided evidence to Ofqual on the limited confidence I have in the system based on the number of papers submitted for last year's GCSEs. I was an interim CEO and found that when we reviewed the 375 remark requests
First two English re-marks are back. Increased by 12 and 16 marks. A difference of two grades from 3 to 5. How on earth are we supposed to know which grades to get checked? Report says clerical error. Why doesn’t that trigger a recall of all marks by that marker? Not good enough

I said I would share this because it was important. The British Library have a padlet of their popular English resources. Something we missed as a result of their cyberattack. You can access them with these QR codes. @britishlibrary

I genuinely believe this will become one of the most important resources for schools this year. A simple key message - inclusive teaching starts with great teaching for all pupils, not by planning different lessons or tasks and definantly not by lowering expectations.

Now the heat is lessening. Anyone going to roll out a plan for how we don’t have a twice yearly repeat of the abuse lots of us have faced @educationgovuk? Ignoring what is happening would be negligent. Bookmarked ready for next winter/summer
