In Feb we started a long process to move to out of the UK.
Since then we got engaged, then married 7 weeks later, filled out a mountain of paperwork, I turned 30, and finally…
…on Sunday we’ll be moving to Brooklyn! 🗽
It’s feeling more and more surreal the closer it gets.
Nah. Chat is a dreadful way to discover a new product.
You want to slash command its features? I’ll ask for a saddle because I don’t know what a car is yet…
Will chat be a part of the vast majority of products from here on out? Yeh I think that’s a safe assumption.
Prediction: You’ll soon control everything from one interface 🔥
Opening different apps for different tasks feels super old school.
Instead, you’ll have one interface to send emails, book flights, shop, and trigger countless services from.
The apps themselves won’t disappear, but their interfaces will.
Recently, I’ve been using several agents entirely through a chat. The interface is almost nonexistent, or “invisible,” you could say. But the underlying technology is more powerful than ever.
Using a text interface alone won’t be enough.
So I built one that is more dynamic, fluid, and visual.
Here, the chat becomes the control layer, while “dynamic widgets” appear whenever you need them and disappear when the task is done.
In this example, I ask my agent to plan my upcoming Japan trip, and several visual elements appear with options, prices, and dates. They help me make a decision and then get out of the way.
Super easy and seamless to use. I don't think I'll ever go back to using overloaded booking platforms.
And this goes far beyond travel. Instead of adapting to hundreds of different interfaces, the interface will adapt to whatever you’re trying to do.
The future of interfaces is a persistent conversation surrounded by temporary, dynamic components.
Sigh, clickbait take.
It’s a great time to build for everyone, especially developers and especially agile learners (which could be anyone).
The more you know about how it works, the better your prompts and reviews, the better and more sustainable your output.
Welp, there's the last reason I needed to sign up for Claude Max:

(TL;DR; Claude remote agents on GH are now included in Claude Max)
Been having a ton of fun with "Remote Agents" this weekend.
I've wrapped up the different offerings from Claude, Cursor and Copilot here in a post:

Oh damn actually it looks like it's for pro users too!
I imagine you'll hit usage limits pretty quickly tho with this GH action and your regular usage. github.com/anthropics/claude…

It's so confusing that Claude Code doesn't make it clear as to how much of your allowance you've used and when you've hit any limits.
According to claude-monitor, I'm 371% over? Like what?
Anthropics site says 10-40 prompts per 5 hours. I'm at least 30 prompts or so by now.
Just did the math and I'm surprised to see that the Delta Platinum pairs really nicely with the Amex Platinum if you travel a lot, specifically with Delta (obv).
The cards cost a combined $1,250 p/y (if you add an additional card holder for each) and give us $5,000 p/y.
So often, I do this thing where I get fascinated by an idea and start to create something off the back of it, but I rarely see it through to a point where I can share it with others.
A blog post, some photos, a reel/TikTok, a piece of software, a CAD design that I've printed...
a) be less of a perfectionist and share it early
b) try resist taking on other things until your current thing is finished
c) what else? How do you think about this? How do creators push through?
Apple recreated Docker (to some degree?) in Swift? y tho?

This year I’ve achieved something I’ve been trying to do for my whole adult life.
📉 10kg down
📈 strength and muscle up
It was a pretty profound experience so I put together some bullet points on my learnings here.
Excited to build and eat more.

I’m in gorgeous San Diego until Monday.
My wife and I are considering moving here someday. We love it here!
Any SD folks wanna meet for coffee? 😊 would love to meet some new friends. Bonus: we have @hotdogparker with us. – at San Diego, CA
