the more you separate the humanities from tech, the worst it gets....nothing more depressing than to interact with half of the people in my batch who do NAWT care about the environment, exploitation of people to create goods, and we are the "future engineers" HAH i wanna cry
have been viewing the pursuit of true artistic creation, production and expression (and maybe even consumption of good art as a symbol of recognition) as an act of active resistance against technology-based governance in our lives
i've learned to do this horrible thing of mentally and emotionally distancing myself from friendships who i've had even a slight rough patch with...and constantly switching back and forth onto re-accepting them and resenting them forever
have always been scared of wanting things because of a constant underlying feeling of being undeserving #howtoheal
i hate twitter so much but every once in a while my tl here is so beautiful...filled with the art you guys make and the poems you write...and it feels warm and fulfils/validates a very specific part of my soul and the world feels liveable again
