Today marks 100 years since Frederick Banting, James Collip and Charles Best were awarded U.S. patents on #insulin.
They sold the patents to the University of Toronto for a symbolic $1, with Banting famously saying:

Last night's plant based meal, grass fed local lamb. Almost zero miles compared to plant based processed plastic flown around the world. Support local and British farmers. And these little beauties were absolutely delicious.
