Excited to share that the first paper from the Isom lab is now available on Biorxiv!

We have investigated YhdP at the molecular level to show that it forms an envelope-spanning bridge and that putative phospholipids are found inside this bridge!

I’m proud to present our latest work on the #cryoEM structure of the RodA-PBP2 complex in E. coli, which is out in @NatureComms today! In this work we used an interdisciplinary approach to shed light on the structural basis of peptidoglycan biosynthesis.

Disappointed that @nyuniversity would deny bonuses to graduate researchers who are among the most vulnerable to economic hardship in the wake of the pandemic & that admin would rather split hairs on semantics of FTEs than support the ppl carrying on their sacred academic mission
