We love you Salford! @The_Lowry is always such a welcoming and wonderful venue to perform in, a huge thank you for all your support. This was also our FIRST EVER six day run, and a joy to perform 12 shows here to our amazing audiences ❤️

Words don't do justice to review the magic of @frozentheatre but feelings do. The Bar at the end of time was soul enriching & sensory connective theatre in perfection. We cried, we laughed, we sang, & we made memories to last a lifetime all in just 1 hour. So grateful for it 🙏 x

An old white man sat next to me on my flight to London saw me reading, gave me his book and said “here, you’ll enjoy it more”.
It’s a book about women and racism in the south of the US in the 60s. Not sure why he doesn’t want to finish it… but yes, I will very much enjoy it

Today I worked with 6-7 year olds and there’s a lot I can learn from them girlies. They were not embarrassed to be silly, they threw themselves at every dance game and they took up their space…
This year I’m channelling more 7 year old girlie energy
You know what I hate, when people on the tube don’t look at a homeless person when they come in and speak.
If you don’t wanna give anything ok, but at least acknowledge them and don’t act like they’re not a human just like you

Oh dear well there we go, @SpotlightUK has fallen into the capitalist cycle and desire to earn more money, leaving the richer with more opportunities to access jobs, insurance and care and the poorer (who are the ones that need the extra help) are left distanced

I haven’t seen the details surrounding this, but, if it’s true (I suspect it is) we need to stand together, as a union @EquityUK & demand better. @SpotlightUK have grown beneath our noses to become a capitalist conglomerate that exists to rip off #actors, NOT protect them. Awful.
Oh @SpotlightUK 😔 so disappointing to see the new tiers of membership & people being priced out…& for the new, almost £300 a year, membership you get a 24hr health/well-being helpline? But not if you can’t afford it? Pls clarify if I’m wrong but this is what it looks like…1/2
