So I explained @OpenAI’s Sora app to my father and sent him this video as an example of what I can make with AI with a single prompt. His response:
“Who or what is playing Ronald McDonald?”
I worry about the next level of scams that will be unleashed against the elderly.
My brother and I established a code word to use so that my father knows a call or FaceTime is actually from us. I recommend all families do the same if they haven’t yet.
You can feel pulled to someone but still recognize they don’t have the emotional maturity to sustain a healthy connection.
You are not meant to repeat what is familiar. You are meant to expand.
Unfamiliar does not mean unsafe. It means your ego does not have a script yet. That is where real presence lives, in the unscripted, uncomfortable, wide open spaces. That is where spirit moves freely.
Pay attention to how people handle conflict and accountability in friendships, it reveals their true colors.
If this generation seeks fluidity, decentralization, and authenticity but its shadow is elitism, performative authenticity, and dependence on the very systems it critiques are we truly breaking free or just reinventing the same hierarchies in new forms?
The smartest minds don’t pretend to have all the answers. They embrace complexity, they sit with discomfort, and they still move forward.
