This is how freedom looks like, but lots of people in the west and specifically Germany will have their blood boiling looking at this and cry elephant tears as another communist regime slowly but surely falls
Finalmente, Caracas, estoy aquí!! 🇻🇪

These are the kind of people who join the mob for Kristallnacht.
San Jose (Sunnyvale), CA - Watch as a woman starts chanting “Free Palestine” at the couple sitting next to her after she hears them Hebrew. The woman’s husband is shaking his head while their young daughter is crying. Recognize her? DM us.

This whole Macklemore situation is so spiritually Palestinian. Ed Sheeran became one of the biggest musicians in the world by writing good music, he built an audience, and people spend hundreds of dollars to come hear his music. Macklemore gets invited onto that stage and decides to hijack Ed Sheeran’s concert for his political rally. Ed built the stage and brought the audience, and Macklemore decided he was entitled to commandeer it for his demented cause. And when Ed Sheeran tells him this is a concert, not a political rally, and he doesn’t want to take sides, he becomes the villain. This is Palestinianism. You build nothing. You bite the hand that feeds you. You leech onto things other people built and destroy them. These parasites have hijacked every institution, every cultural event, everything other people built, and feel entitled to selfishly destroy it for their tribal clan politics.

You want to hear something more ridiculous? The German tax office seized my business bank account. In Q3 we moved offices and setup a redirect service with the German post office, so that mail gets delivered to our new office. The tax office sent us a bill for 43,67€ via post - to our old office. Since the German post office is not allowed to redirect mail by the tax office, they sent it back to the tax office TOGETHER WITH A NOTE FOR OUR NEW ADRESSE Tax office did not care, kept sending reminders to our old office which were promptly returned to them. After 2 months they had enough and seized our bank account. Rent, subscriptions and wages could not be paid out. Because of 40€ we did not pay. I talked to them on the phone “Did you receive the letters back with our new address” - “Yes, but that is another department” “Did you check our website our national company register to find out our new address?” - “No, that is not our job. You need to inform us” Absolute shitshow
The German Rentenversicherung just sent me a physical letter asking for my address so they can audit me. You cannot make this stuff up. And at this point, it’s not even funny anymore. I’m not even going to mention that the form has a “per Fax” field.

You can move to Warsaw. Rent a penthouse in the city center for 1,800 dollars and have every Polish person you know tell you you're overpaying. For a penthouse. Set up a company in 3 weeks and pay 12% tax on your income. Feel guilty about it constantly because you're used to governments taking half. You'll try to find ways to give money away. It's a real problem. Hire 25 talented people for less than a 5 person team costs in London. Develop a permanent suspicion that something is wrong because business shouldn't be this straightforward. File your taxes in 20 minutes online and spend the rest of the afternoon wondering what German founders do with the 4 months of tax suffering you no longer have. Walk home at 2am eating a zapiekanka with both hands. No plan. No awareness. No keys between your fingers. Just vibes and mustard. Leave your laptop in a café and come back to find a stranger guarding it. Expect this everywhere from now on. Get your laptop stolen in Berlin 3 months later because Poland has completely destroyed your survival instincts. Get a full dental cleaning for 30 dollars. Go twice a year now because there's no financial punishment for taking care of yourself. Become the healthiest version of yourself against your will. Speak one word of Polish at a restaurant and watch the entire staff treat you like a son who just came home from war. Everybody is so friendly when you try their language that it feels unprofessional. You'll get used to it. Then you'll miss it everywhere else. Have a babcia in your building adopt you without your consent. She brings you soup weekly, calls you "that handsome foreigner," and tells you you're too skinny despite your 17 inch arms. You did not ask for this relationship but you cannot leave it. Spend your weekends browsing działka listings because a Polish friend took you to his garden plot once and now you understand. You don't even like gardening. It doesn't matter. Poland has changed you. Tell your friends in Berlin and Frankfurt what you pay for rent, taxes, food, and a gym membership. Watch them go silent. Then watch them book a flight to Warsaw "just to visit." They're not visiting. They're scouting. You know it. They know it. Poland always wins. It just takes one trip.

Budget airlines like Ryanair are a really good example for how free markets can both deliver consumer surplus and make the CEOs responsible rich. The CEO became a billionaire precisely because he got brutally good at making fares cheap for passengers. And the entire budget airline story was only possible because the EU deregulated and harmonized air travel in Europe.
Replying to @actsmaniac
Air transport is also better regulated (in fact less regulated afaik) in Europe than in the US. Americans would kill for Ryanair and Wizz Air

An Israeli tourist in Bangkok says she was waiting at her table for her meal when she noticed a sign saying "No Israel tourist." She called for staff and offered to pay for her drink, but would like to cancel her food order. The manager came, all smiles and hospitality, and tried to convince her to stay. Finally, she admitted that she was leaving because of the sign on the door. The smiles disappeared. He asked her if she was Israeli, and when she confirmed, he began shouting. She said he demanded she pay an exorbitant price for her can of coke as he got closer in order to intimidate the woman who just wanted some food. In an instant, her humanity was stripped from her because of the location she was born. That's the reality Israelis have to face: you tell us to get out of Israel and, when we do, you make sure we know we aren't welcome.

Argentina’s Lionel Messi, soccer legend, also had words last night with the Egyptian coach during the game. Messi: “Whats wrong with you?” Coach wants to fight. This is a snapshot of the entire Middle East…”what’s wrong with you?”
The Egyptian soccer team shot a video from their locker room,“The Secret to Victory.” Their game preparation includes starting each game cursing Christians and Jews, Quran passages calling Christians and Jews “infidels” and encouraging Allah’s wrath. For example, as Dr. Malouf points out, Coptic Christians make up 15% of Egypt’s population yet they are not allowed on the national team. Now, the Islamic team of Egypt has been eliminated by the ‘infidel’ nation of Argentina. Apparently, Allah’s a loser. 🤣 H/T @realMaalouf. teapawt.org/realMaalouf/status/207…

Egyptian coach Hussam Hassan is a sore loser. Instead of accepting the result, he went on camera and claimed that FIFA wanted Messi to continue and Argentina to win for marketing purposes. I haven’t heard a single coach make that kind of accusation during this tournament. Sometimes you simply have to accept that the better team won and move on.
