Okay here’s my “Valkyries Wrapped” if anyones curious since I went to a lot of home games this season and im a lil drunk again and trying to organize my thoughts before i sleep and also taking advantage of the month i have plus for. I went to 14 games this season, with a 12:2 record. Losses were to the Lynx on Aug 19th and to the Dream on Oct 19th (clearly a day I need to avoid). Got to see Paige’s incredibly 90% efficiency game in game 1 of the playoff series. I remember just being in awe- she made it look so easy against our defense. Angels’ 30 point 16 rebound game this series was both a gift and a nightmare-a gift to see such a talented player and a nightmare cause it was against my team. Gabby’s 23 pt performance in june vs ATL was incredible to see, and my eyes were also blessed with VB’s pts ast double double back in May. So incredibly blessed and fortunate to be able to afford to go to so many games, and so happy that I was able to witness such greatness and community and joy during what was a really hard summer for me, with my grandpa passing and being unable to go to the proceedings due to a grueling internship. This team genuinely meant so much to me. Wow. Cannot express just how excited I am for the future with this team. Valks FC forever.
