They won't bring apartheid back through bylaws, but they can price you out. In Cape Town, unaffordable housing pushes many Black families to the outskirts, away from jobs and opportunities. You don't need apartheid laws to recreate apartheid's spatial inequality.

South Africans take for granted the privilege of being able to cast a vote without the threat of intimidation and violence. The ANC got a lot wrong but certainly got democracy right. For that I'm truly thankful.

They're so funny. How do you expect to see more black people than white people at a voting station in Houghton or Hyde Park? Obviously, you're going to see more white people there, just as someone voting in Soweto is going to see more black people than white people.

Don’t think calling someone an ANC beneficiary is a “gotcha” moment or an insult. EVERY SOUTH AFRICAN is a beneficiary of the ANC.
We are standing in lines today to vote because of them (and others).
Reflect on that.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN IM VOTING ANC!
