This summer our foundation year induction booklets will be included in our new junior doctor app called 'DGFT Connect'.

‘Building Foundations’ is a programme aimed to provide new FY1 doctors with up-to-date specialty specific induction packs to help increase confidence. This had a great effect on FY1's last year - a 78.5% increase in self rated confidence. Data collated by Dr Sophie Winter #FY1
ALT ‘Building Foundations’ is a programme aiming to provide new foundation year 1 doctors with up-to-date specialty specific induction packs to help increase confidence. This was conceptualised after an audit found not all doctors were receiving induction packs, but those who did had greater levels of perceived preparedness for that job.
