I wouldn’t recommend 20k… and most 8k max. Any more and your rigging or your clients using the experience will lag.
It’s always better to optimize if you have a model exceeding 2000 layers, and the best you can do with that is by not going bigger than 8k canvas size.

I swear we NEED to actually gatekeep non-artists from sharing their dogshit opinions on art more often.
It's NOT $15k for a minute OF WORK, it's $15k for a minute of ANIMATION, which assuming it's 12 FPS is 720 drawings, each drawing being $20 which is fucking abysmally low.
So sick of people complaining about artist/animator prices when they were never gunna commission that person anyway- let people charge what they deem fit- if you don’t like it- okay? Noone is forcing you to pay their rates- which are fair btw if you knew anything…

Some folks are posting about their use of warp deformers for mouth forms, which I have also switched to, mostly because I almost exclusively rig Vbridger/Perfect Sync mouths.
I pre-warp a lot of my deformers to make rigging like this feel similar to rigging on artmeshes. #Live2D
