Chamique Holdsclaw HOF speech: "Before all of this there was Astoria Houses in Queens NY…When I was growing up girls were not allowed to play…but those young men saw something in me, advocated for me, and made sure I had a place on that court…I will never forget Ron Ron (Metta World Peace)––'anyone tries to hurt her I'm knockin you out'––that was protection, respect, belief…before the world knew my name, they made sure I belonged…I was surrounded by greatness…I remember watching Speedy Claxton play at Elmcor––the rhythm, confidence, energy––that was New York Basketball. Lamar Odom…I realized I needed to elevate my game…Being around greatness at a young age demanded greatness from me"

It’s official
Mike Brown is an upgrade over Tom Thibodeau in both the regular season and the playoffs
TGIFLY retweeted
Inexcusable to continue having lineups with neither Brunson or KAT on the floor and also only have 1 of the starting wings.
It didn't burn the Knicks in game 1, but it has here. Who are you even running offense through with this group?
Mike Brown cannot continue with this.

Jose! Jose! Jose! Alvarado is bringing a new level of intensity and energy to the Knicks in his early games with the team.
We talk about how his relentless playing style, combined with his genuine appreciation for being in the NBA, is radiating throughout the locker room and inspiring his teammates to play harder.
Adding a different kind of grit and fight that the team had been missing.
