کرنل امام بھی 2010/11 میں ٹی ٹی پی کے لیڈروں سے مزاکرات کرنے اور سمجھانے گئے تھے۔ ان کا خیال تھا وہ طالبان کے استاد اور گاڈ فادر کا درجہ رکھتے تھے اور افغان جنگ میں انہوں نے ہی طالبان کو ٹرین کیا تھا۔ ان کا افسوسناک انجام سب کے سامنے ہے۔یوٹیوب پر ابھی بھی ان کو قتل کرنے ویڈیو موجود ہوگی۔ ایک رپورٹ کے مطابق کرنل صاحب کی میت واپسی کے لیے بھی لواحقین سے تاوان لیا گیا تھا۔

Journalists express all sorts of opinions every day, but when @asmashirazi does, even in the most measured words, she becomes a target of vicious attacks. Some people follow her every word, not to understand her views, but to bully her. It’s a pattern. This mob mentality is exactly why journalists now avoid expressing views that challenge the popular narrative.
