pls don’t try to justify percabeth not hugging on their love language or a slow burn moving too fast if your best friend was presumed dead kidnapped and tortured you would hug them like what

the concept of PERCY JACKSON (insane crazy guy) not hugging ANNABETH CHASE (the most beautiful and love of his life that’s he’s starting to figure out) after she was presumed DEAD…… now i know james bobin wouldn’t let this happen

In the longer clip, she’s talking about season 3 and says “just know that that’s how it’s gonna be” about the hug.

also mind you the thing that destroyed luke and drove him to do what he did was feeling unloved and abandoned by the person who was supposed to love him the most and the movie just took away all the depth all his trauma and complexity and literally his DESTINY

The betrayal is such a huge event in Percy Jackson story, it's the first time we see Percy's most important part of his personality whis is his fatal flaw: excessive personal loyalty. He's supposed to feel sad and angry but in the movies he's just "you're not a hero ..."??
