Excited to share a sneak peek of my book, THE SECRET WORLD OF BRIAR ROSE!
In this queer Sleeping Beauty retelling, a thief and her sister travel through the dreams of a cursed princess and suspect her of hiding darker secrets behind her perfect paradise.

If you look at a white author’s success in the trenches and think “wow their book must be really good”, but then look at a POC author’s success and think “it’s because they’re a POC” then you are a racist and you need to figure that out
Getting gender affirming care (something that is often expensive, inaccessible, and emotionally taxing) so that you can make up like 1% of published authors who are transgender is a bold commitment for the love of the game ngl that writer wanted to play life on X games mode
8 hours later I'm still thinking about how there's a writer out there sincerely believing there is a cis indie author to trans trad author pipeline. Do they do the surgeries inside the offices of Big 5 Publishers? Do they take all the Simons and turn them into Schusters?

so. we live under capitalism. meaning that publisher's first priority is profit. so they prioritize appealing to the largest consumer demo who reads. that group is white, cis, straight women. diversity initiatives are around only to try and give the marginalized a fighting chance
welcome to the book community where we treat fictional characters like real humans and treat real humans like fictional characters
why would you use AI to summarize colleen hoover books when you can just find out about the plot through my videos and narration of the most insane quotes? will AI play "girl on fire" by alicia keys after describing the love interest fetishizing a burn victim? i dont think so
Not to be that friend who's too woke but I don't like how immigrants are framed by the functional benefits and services they provide to society rather than their existence alone is enough to be deserving of rights

it’s so uplifting to see emily henry is offering signed, personalized copies of her books for BOOK RAFFLE FOR GAZA.
all of the proceeds from this raffle will go to number of families and other organizations that are distributing life-saving food, formula, and water to the people in gaza ♥️
