As suspected complete waste of time. No exemptions despite legislation for exemptions. No funding available to widen street. Councillor's view ...park on pavement you WILL be fined. Cause obstruction by not parking on pavement Police MAY fine you= tough titty!

Meeting our councillor today to discuss parking in our street ... suspect it will be a waste of time... our street was built about 70 years ago and bin lorries and big fire engines had not been invented.

Jesus... Words fail me... They (we) have got to stop these vanity projects... Never mind taxis/private hire etc... How are any other service based companies/traders etc supposed to gain access to provide a service. They will eventually kill this once fine city. 😒
