I enjoy talking/writing about D1/JUCO college baseball and minor league prospects. Hit me up for manga/anime recs. I will discuss politics to call out bullshit.

Getting a look at some interesting newcomers at @GoCamelsBSB fall world series. JC transfer Landon Miller K'd side in 1st then stranded bases full in 2nd. Negative-vert turbo sinker & 4-seam up to 93, feel to spin SL and big sweeper. Freshman Beckett Howie 94-95 w/ more in tank.

Sources: Cuban 🇨🇺 catcher Anthony Calderón (17) has agreed with the Atlanta Braves to sign during the current international signing period for a $350,000 bonus.
The deal is pending a physical.
Calderón has shown power, hitting ability, leadership behind the plate, defensive skills and arm strength.
Tate Southesine is leading off today in the AFL.
Owen Carey batting 7th.
Hopefully both continue their hot hitting. Need some XBH!
Looking back at the 2023 draft, which was loaded with SS propsects. The Braves took none.
My version of the draft included taking Colin Houck and Cooper Pratt. Houck looks like a miss, but Cooper Pratt would have been a HR.
Don't worry, the Braves took Waldrep and Hackenberg.
Alfredo Sena with a bases loaded single that plates 2.
He's 2-3, 2B, 2 RBI
It's the 3rd inning. Lots of offense today.

Can’t be more proud of our guy Daniel Espino. Batters hit 1-11 with 6 ks against him in the ALCS, going mainly against the Rays best hitters. We are glad the world is seeing what we knew about you years ago. #familia @CleGuardPro @CleGuardians @_JeremyBooth @BaseballAmerica
Colts lost to the Titans? Oof! Just an embarrassment of a team.
Best of luck to the Irsay sisters cause they are gonna have to make some real changes.
Just voted.
Hope everyone votes. Definitely vote early. No line. In and out in a couple of minutes. I’m an advocate of making your voice heard.

Briggs McKenzie sparkles in his @MLBazFallLeague outing, striking out six over four-plus hitless frames.
The @Braves' No. 8 prospect, who posted a 2.08 ERA across three Minor League levels during the regular season, is the youngest pitcher in the desert at 20 years old:

Japanese 18-year-old RHP Shoki Oda has decided to pursue a path toward MLB.
It remains unclear whether he will go through the international market or the MLB Draft, but the 18-year-old right-hander has made his decision recently.
Several MLB teams expected Oda to choose to continue his career in Japan, so his decision comes as a surprise to some clubs.
Alfredo Sena talk. Very exciting if the Braves do sign him.
New Future Projection mailbag:
-- Alfredo Sena an immediate Top 100 prospect?
-- Struggling first-round pick
-- Best IFA signing strategy
-- Mets arm to watch
-- and more

Just finished my post season top prospects.
Ended up needing to remove about 8 guys from my prospects sheet as they were released. Hopefully the players released will catch on somewhere else.
Also noted that 15 prospects had season ending injuries throughout the season. :(

Eric Hartman is the @MiLB Breakout Prospect of the Year!
The @Braves' 2024 20th-round pick became the first Minor Leaguer to hit 25 homers and steal 50 bases since Andruw Jones in 1995.
