DIGGER is breathtaking. A movie that reminds us just how fucking good Tom Cruise is. The biggest of swings that makes for an absolutely incredible movie.

THE END OF OAK STREET is like if you took a Steven Spielberg movie and mixed it with Stranger Things and the best kind of weird comedy. Fun, surprisingly hilarious, and a perfect end to the summer Blockbuster season.

Only Congo fan in the mid of gigantic Colombian fans sea is singing his anthem. Colombian fans respectfully stay quiet and at the end celebrates with him. This makes you feel better and better as more as you watch it

Warner Bros. film chief Pam Abdy reflects on a “turbulent” year at the studio while celebrating the awards success of “Sinners,” “One Battle After Another” and “Weapons”: “This moment in my 30-year career will go down as the most emotional, turbulent, wonderful, inspiring time of my life.”

I don’t know if I can write a full review of @wuthering_hts before seeing it once or twice more, but what I will say right now is that @emeraldfennell’s adaptation DOES have its very own NECESSARY role in our digestion of Brontë and of the process of creation. I think of it as the wild, wishful, through the looking glass dream you have about them all after falling asleep in your chair having just finished the book. Not literal, but between the lines and what could have been; the visceral physicality of torment and of touching a love ephemeral BECAUSE it was only a dream. In Brontë, Cathy and Heathcliff only ever had the dream. They never truly consummated that love. And as we all left the theatre, we feel as bereft as they did, suddenly jerked awake, bereft, stranded, and haunted by their ghosts as they haunted each other. As heartbroken as I am, I’m grateful to Jacob, Margot, and Emerald for being part of my dreams. #WutheringHeightsMovie

We do understand the #globalwarming caused by fossil fuels - for four decades it’s been going as predicted. But we don’t understand the surprise upward leap that is happening now. And that worries me.
