This client reached out around June to build a headless Shopify store.
He’s a very busy man, so he goes on and off. At one point, he disappeared for about 3 months, so a project that was supposed to take 2–4 weeks has stretched to almost 6 months.
The funny part is, the last time he asked me how much he still owed, I genuinely had no clue 😭
He had already paid twice, I couldn’t remember the original quote, and I had to dig through old WhatsApp chats and my bank statement just to piece everything together.

I was eating yesterday at my usual spot on campus when one of my coursemates came up to me and said:
“Boss, you’re eating o.”
I just stared at him like... really? 😭
Then he goes, “You no even call me or buy two plates, one for your boy.”

I genuinely didn’t know how to respond, so I just sat there smiling awkwardly the whole time.
