Today we remember Fusilier Lee Rigby
On 22 May 2013 in Woolwich, southeast London, two Islamic scumbag terrorists Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale deliberately ran over a British soldier in broad daylight, then hacked him to death with knives and a cleaver while he lay on the pavement.
Adebolajo stayed at the scene and told passers-by he had done it as a soldier of Allah because of British military action in Muslim lands, and that he loved al-Qaeda.
Both men were British converts to Islam who were raised in Christian families.
They were convicted of murder. Adebolajo got a whole-life sentence and Adebowale a minimum of 45 years.
The attack showed that Islamic ideology continues to produce killers who target soldiers and civilians on British streets and across the whole world

I posted this just over a year ago, after the death of Dame Patricia Routledge, and it went down a storm, both with those who fondly remembered Kitty from Victoria Wood As Seen on TV and those who were meeting this wonderful character for the first time.
It was terribly sad to lose someone as talented as Dame Patricia, but goodness, what a legacy she left us. Keeping Up Appearances, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads. And Kitty, of course... and that’s before you even get to the stage.
She won an Olivier and a Tony and collected more honorary doctorates than you could wave a stick at. Quite right too.
One of her final honours was the Freedom of the Borough of Wirral.
Lovely, of course. But surely it should have been Cheadle!

This is Naveed Aktar who has just been granted Cat D prison and day release to help him settle back into the community.
He is the brother of the man who owned the "party house" that was used to abuse me in for years and for men from across the Country to come and abuse me and others. He was convicted of 2 counts of rape and given 17 years in 2019.
He was also caught smuggling drugs into prison through the crown court toilets during the trial and given extra time.
He has served just a fraction of these sentences and is soon going to back back in society.
