A huge thank you to our amazing CAP volunteers! 🎉After two hours of vibrant holiday music booming throughout the office and a sorting and folding frenzy, all of our CAP student t-shirts and polos are set for delivery to our teaching artists. We truly appreciate our fantastic Uptown Civitan and @EverBank volunteers for your support!💜 If you'd like more information about volunteering opportunities with CAP click here: capkids.org/volunteer/

Participation in the arts creates extraordinary change in the lives of children that sets them up to succeed in school and in life. Research consistently shows clear links between arts involvement and positive outcomes in academics, creative and critical thinking, personal behavior, and social and civic participation. These benefits reinforce the essential value of the arts to enrich not only individual children and young adults, but also their communities. For more information visit capkids.org. 🎶👯🎨🎭

CAP students are getting excited for the Opening Day Celebration at Deck the Chairs tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26, beginning at 7 pm at the Seawalk Pavilion! The CAP String Orchestra, Abess Park Elementary School Chorus and the CAP Dance Ensemble will all be performing! 🎻🎶👯 Thank to #deckthechairs, who is celebrating 13 seasons of benefiting students in the arts, with the mission of promoting children’s arts and arts education to create a stronger next generation. Looking forward to seeing you all there! 💜🌟 Be sure to tag your #CAPkidsjax!

As they have done for several years, Jacksonville Magazine asked local nonprofits to share one “wish“ for the remainder of 2025. Thank you for asking! A purple cap T-shirt is a cherished memento of pride, creativity and accomplishment for our students. Shirts are worn over and over in class, at rehearsals, performances and events, but CAP cannot always provide a new one each year. In support of our REIMAGINE Campaign, help us provide this meaningful item to our more than 4,000 aspiring artists by donating $10 per shirt at capkids.org/wishlist/ 💜 #CAPkidsjax #TheArtsAddUp #Artsed
